I found THE phone!!!

my husband has an iPhone, I have the Focus and I HAVE WON THE PHONE WAR! Focus blows all others out of the water. Great personal/business phone. Lots of apps to help with all your personal and business needs. Only one tiny, tiny, tiny very minimal gripe which is not enough to deter me from recommending this phone...I wish I could upload ringtones.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: can't upload ringtones

I never thought I would love a phone as much as I love this one. I'm not a big phone person and certainly not into texting, but this phone is just fun to use. The pictures are so vivid and better than any I've ever seen from a phone. The keyboard is easy to use, even for my husband who has bigger fingers. Yes, we both have the Focus! The only problem with it is that you can't add your own ringtones. Yep, you just have to take what comes on the phone straight out of the box! I've heard that there will be updates coming to fix this though. Overall though, the best phone I've ever had, easy to use and get around in, takes awesome pictures, loud speaker. I would recommend it to anybody.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, great camera

Ease in use - ability for a novice

I was fairly overwhelmed and hesitant to get into the Smart Phone world, but getting the Focus Windows phone operational by the Sales Rep helped a great deal. They also gave me several tips. Then the features were so familiar to my 'tower' computer that it's been no trouble at all. Lots of good info out there on the 'Net! I'm finding I really like my phone!! I'm not lugging around a big computer and I can stay in touch with people in a much more timely manner!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, familiar software, blue tooth, attach to computer or charger with one cord
Cons: very sensitive touch screen, needed special software to load music

This phone is simply amazing. It performs exceptionally well and has a clean, functional interface. What little could be said to be sub-optimal about this phone is slated to be fixed in the upcoming Windows Phone 7.5 (codename Mango) release, due in October 2011. Furthermore, this release plans to add many features that I find simply amazing. I'm very pleased with Samsung's choice to make this hardware run Windows Phone 7, and Microsoft's continued commitment to their consumer base.

A Gorgeous Phone!!!

The first thing i noticed about the phone was its form factor and the screen. Its really thin and the screen is absolutely gorgeous with deep blacks, sharp text and accurate color reproduction.
This is my first Samsung phone and i was a bit hesitant in buying the same. But i must say, this was the decision i would never regret.
Regarding performance: The phone is really snappy and responsive. I compared it with other WP7 phones with the same processor and RAM and to my surprise, the apps and games load much faster on this device. This shows that the hardware is so well constructed.
The camera picture/video(720p) quality is way better than on other 5 megapixels cameras out there on phones. The images are sharp and colors more real.
WP7 OS is just fantastic with Metro UI, a worthy competitor to iPhone.
Also, This is the only WP7 with a MicroSD slot. It had 8 gigs of internal memory and i added 32 more.. now i have 40 gigs of memory.. can u beat that!! My memory card is now full and there isn't a slight change in the performance its still like as if it were brand new. Really commendable!!
As the saying goes "The eyes of man are never satisfied". I wish the phone had a front facing camera and the screen resolution could have been qHD. Also, there's no Desktop Dock available from Samsung.
I have the Zune Pass subscription, and with that i feel like i own all the songs in the world. Something that iTunes is missing badly. Incredible!!
Battery life is pretty decent. I don't have to charge more than once in a day. Couldn't ask for more till a revolutionary technology comes in the field of batteries.
Conclusion: I would blindly recommend this phone to anyone. Go ahead, buy this phone. You'll never regret your decision.

I absolutely love my Samsung Focus. The quality of the screen is great and it takes great pics and videos as well. It's a solid performer that simply works and works well.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, glonass added for better gps readings
Cons: screen shatters too easily

Super fast. Great screen. I just need some more features from Microsoft like Internet Sharing or Tethering, COPY AND PASTE, and multitasking.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, fast, it never hangs
Cons: Too big, removing battery cover is terrible., flash less powerful than htc surround
