The Samsung Focus is perhaps the best Windows Phone right, at least until the new phones preloaded with Mango come out. The Super AMOLED screen is probably the best thing about it. It is very bright, has rich colors, and deep blacks. It complements the UI very well. The Focus is very thin and quite light compared to most phones. Battery life is fair, unless you spend extended periods of time on it. Then you might need to carry the charger around. The only real fault I found with this phone was the built in radio receiver. It is very weak and seldom receives any signal in or around my house. Out on the road it seems fine as long as it is next to a window. Other phones I have tested the FM tuner with performed consistently better than the Focus. With that said, The Samsung Focus is a great phones with one fault, and Windows Phone is a great OS.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, windows phone
Cons: weak radio tuner

I've owned this phone since November 2010 and I've been happy with it and the Windows Phone 7 platform. As far as features, I still wish it had a front-facing camera and that tacky ATT logo get removed. This isn't Nascar i dont want to see everyone's logo on it. I wish the removable storage on the unit could actually be upgraded like was advertised when it first came out. No follow up on the promise of "windows phone 7-certified" microSD cards. As far as performance, because I had to carefully pick and choose out of my music library (lovin Zune by the way), and apps I installed, it ran well for the majority of time with an occasional soft reset required. I think this was more to blame on the software, because now after the Mango update hit, everything runs very smooth with no hiccups! So Performance is good with slight lag during games. Very frustration for fruit ninja ;) Design is nice and fits well with my case-mate pop case, but it is plastic and i was hoping the U.S. would gonna get the more solid Omnia version. Super AMOLED is the main reason this phone leaves all the HTCs in the dust. Value? Was really good when Amazon sold it for .01 with contract a few weeks after release. I missed it though. I payed 150 - 200 for it and I'm still happy. No regrets!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, super amoled
Cons: no front-facing camera, all plastic, no real upgraded capability for storage
