I like the phone overall but the features can difficult to use at first. It is easy to change screens by accident when moving the phone around. The phone is way to sensitive in some ways and not enough in others. I think it is OK but I am sure there is better out there,
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the phone so far, just got it today, it's alot to learn at one time, but I think I'm going to enjoy it.
The Samsung Focus is a good attempt to start into the Window's Platform, however I hope to see some updates in the future. This phone is already "dated."
Pros- *Great color and picture *Super respondent-doesn't freeze up *Looks Sharp *Take great pictures and video *Cool Apps for Windows, like Netflix Zune player is the best!
Cons- *Not sufficient memory-SD cards are hard to find for it *Video playback covers up 1/3 of screen for the first few second and you can't see what you recorded *no custom ringtones-the preset are awful! *Has only one speaker on the back *Netflix doesn't work half the time or keeps buffering
In short, this phone is awesome. It's fast, sleek, durable, fun to use...everything I want in a phone. But, here are the downsides:
1)The "No Do" update from Microsoft has been rolled out to most other Windows Phone 7 devices...but not this one. Why not? I have no earthly idea. C'mon Samsung, lean on the boys in Redmond and make it happen.
2)The power button is exactly opposite the volume buttons. When using the phone with 1 hand, you need to press on one side of the phone and brace against the other side. This causes you to inadvertently push the power button while adjusting volume, or visa versa. Not a huge issue, unless you add a case, which really exacerbates the problem.
3)Battery life could be a bit better. I use the phone constantly (for video, email, calls, games...everything) and it barely makes it through a day. It's vastly better than my old iPhone 3Gs, but it could be better.
These are small complaints (although #1 is really starting to tick me off). I generally enjoy using this phone.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just got my phone, and I gotta say its pretty awsome, great display, sleek desing, the touchscreen is incredible and everything, actually im very satisfied with my purchase... But still I found some inconvinients Im not too happy about, like the speakers max volume, because its a cellphone it should be a little louder because unless you have very fine hearing its probably youll miss a few text messages or even a couple calls. Theres also teh issue of not being able to use mp3 as ringtones, unless your frineds have also high tech cellphones it is very difficult to transfers files to others because the phone doesnt recognize all phones, and finally because of all the features it has, like the superamoled and wifi, the battery runs out really fast, so you have to charge it every night to make it trought the next day
