Everything you need to do is right at your fingertips. The home screen is organized in a completely logical pattern and is 100% customizable. However, you cannot remove programs from the full list that are on the home screen.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: can not sync outlook or documents to phone

I would like to be able to personalize it more with ringtones. It's a feature that it doesn't have yet. The alarms settings could have more features as well.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, amazing graphics, hd photos and videos

this is the best phone i have ever owned, i absolutely love this phone. This phone does anything i could ask for and more, this has to be at least twice as good as the iphone if not three times as proactive as the iphone. zune is spectacular, it takes all your itunes music and puts it in your zune account, that way you dont spend twice the money for one song.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, extremely easy to use, great battery, very touch sensitive screen, exeeded my expectations
Cons: the apps are a little expensive

Great Windows Phone

I've had the Focus for a week now and it's great. It would be nice if the calendar reminder had more options, i.e., something between 1 hour and 18 hours would be useful.
The keyboard takes some getting used to after having had a Blackberry for years. On/off/sleep button is exactly opposite the volume button and more than once I've accidentally adjusted the volume when turning the phone on.
Overall impression of the device is excellent. Clear icons, easy to use, very intuitive, good voice quaility. So far, no real complaints. If not for the calendar reminder issue, I would give features 5 stars.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

Samsung Focus vs. Windows Phone 7

The phone is wonderful. I've been using it for four months, and after a two-year stint with an iPhone, the Focus measures up perfectly. Once Microsoft gets its operating system worked out, it'll be even better. Thanks for another great product, Samsung.

This device is actually excellent. It's the Windows 7 OS that ruins it. I had a Tilt 2 before this phone. It had so many neat features and was so functional. But it was painfully slow. You didn't need a computer to own the Tilt, and get the most out of it. This phone is so incredibly fast, but you need a computer to get the most out of this phone. There is no conventional file explorer on the phone, so it's really hard to add files/music/pictures, etc. It's really hard to keep your files organized. This is because of the new Windows OS. You can't sync files with this phone, except for what is possible through Zune. No Office sync or Outlook sync. I don't like that. If you don't have a computer, you can't do a lot of things with this phone. Major drawback. Excellent crystal clear display. Fast WiFi connectivity. It's basically the Windows version of the Iphone.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, microsoft has taken a lot of features away.
