Good phone, easy to use

Phone works good. Nice virtual keypad, rotates when you change phone orientation. No voice recorder app included. Unable to access storage folders via usb connection. Battery life, like these types of phone is not very good, but lasts longer if you turn off a number of options like wi-fi, and others. Sharp screen, good colors, sound is pretty fair. Headphone jack is tight, so make sure the jack is pushed all the way in. Easy bluetooth setup. Setting the display on birght shortens battery life. Secret of operation is in touch and hold to review additional sub-menus. Good web browser.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, makes a good flashlight
Cons: no voice recorder app, can't access files via usb, batterey charge is s-l-o-w.
I would recommend this to a friend!

display was simply superb. windows phone 7 is not bad but not too good also, it has a long way to go so no complaints. i dropped the phone due to sticky factor.. phone is built with plastic and looks cheap.
As a phone usage wise, it is great with bright display, good 4 inch, wp7 is fluid. all in all, it blended well into my daily routine. tile functionlity is a joke though, third party apps update once in a while when a blue moon happens
all in all it is a good phone/os and it was with my budget so i am happy but not too happy.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight

I really like this phone. The OS is very advanced, it's great how it links multiple associations and makes it real simple to use them. Love the AMOLED screen, the processor is awesome, very quick and could have multiple tasks running and never skips a beat. I really enjoy that's a Windows phone, makes it real easy to sync with my Windows 7 desktop. Love how I can customize the Start screen too. Only one small flaw: No cut and paste. Battery is okay for a smartphone, lasts me the whole day. Great smartphone, bad service provider, AT&T, their data plans are unbelievable. But other than that wouldn't trade this phone for an iPhone. (Samsung also builds parts for the iPhone, finally it made something for itself to show how advance its technology really is.)

Super fast, awsome screen, Love the live tiles!!! Excellent camera. It's so nice to have a headphone jack built in instead of having an adapter. The FM radio only works with factory headphones though. Love the Zune software and syncs wirelessy over 802.11n network super fast!!! Copy and paste would be nice but I haven't found myself irritaded because it doesn't support it yet. Support for multiple AES accounts is awsome and the different calendars show up in different colors. IE is a huge improvement over WM devices! I love being able to look at my friends FB walls and profiles and pictures AND being able to comment and see comments in the People HUB without having to open a FB app!!! I will feel a little better about the security when an update includes encryption.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: chrome plastic dings up easy

Falls short of expectations

The Samsung Focus is a great phone as far as size and weight and the HD videos, but am truly disappointed at the lack of apps in which the Windows operating system has as compared to other operating systems. The inability to share voice and video through mms, the inability to customize ringtones, the jittery screen, and the lack of flash abilities make this phone just another phone, but with pretty colors. The best features are the tabs and the ability to pin them to your startup. I would recommend this phone moreso if it had a different operating system. I guess you get what you pay for.

Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Too big, Did not meet expectations

I love the hardware. It's light but doesn't feel cheap. I has a great build quality and feel really good in my hand.
I love Widnows Phone 7. It's the most innovative mobile OS since the iPhone - but it's better!

The only thing I am having trouble with is finding apps, on the phone and/or zune there is no option to search as there is with the iPhone and/or iTunes
