It was time on my contract where I could update my phone. I was always used to the family plans BOGOF. This time I was in a position to get what I wanted. In looking at the different phones where I purchased my phone; the decision was did I want to call more, text more or be able to access all forms of communication; text, email, calling. This model had just come out and I liked that it was based on Windows. I liked the fact that when I [finally figured out how to get the keyboard] that I wasnt messing up what I was typing like I always did with the little buttons on the smaller cell phones [ I once had a family member asked if I was drunk because I didnt proofread what I sent and it was a wordsalad]. Since its still new to me, Im sure there are so many bells and whistles I havent figured out yet. I do like I can send myself reminders by email or forward items to my cell so I dont forget. Since it is new, I understand cases and skins are forthcoming, but I didnt like the choice between black and salmon colored skins as the only option. I didnt like there is no carryall for it which means I have to keep it in my hand or in my purse all the time. I recognize that might be an issue because of the size, but at least now I can see and read things , not like with smaller phones which I couldnt. overall Im glad I selected this and the cost was the same as all the high end phones with similar functions
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, can see the keypad, ease in sending texts or emails
Cons: nothing to carry it in have to hold it, it switches off in the middle of typing, cant really see facebook that well but can post, it is big but i need big to see the features, havent been able to get speakerphone to work
I would recommend this to a friend!

Display is better than my friend's i phone 4!!! Very easy to use. There are more new apps everyday come to market. However, this phone doesn't be able to use multi apps once like i phone. Hopefully WP7's big upgrade comes soon..
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the Focus and Windows Phone 7. There are a lot of improvements that could be made to the software, and I belIeve Microsoft is working on those and will be released soon. The hardware works great. One think I miss is a forward facing camera, which would be nice, but not essential. The phone is fast and overall works great. I really like it a lot. The screen is bigger and better than my past iPhones, and the gaming is great on it.
The phone is awesome but the charge on the phone does not last long....also the alarm volume and ring volume is very low and you cannot turn them up.....that is the one of the things i do not like...and also the detail of the messages automatically shows up so people can read ur message...hopefully they will update the phone so i can change that...other than that it is very entertaining...it has a lot of memory and i am definately pleased with it....i would rather it over an i phone anyday....it is a very mature phone. By the way i have always had samsung phones since i first bought a cell phone and i am loyal to samsung...this phone was just what i wanted thanks.
This phone is almost perfect. As an actual telephone, the quality is great. I really like the tiles and its ease of configuration to Microsoft Exchange. There are just a few things, in my opinion, that if changed would make this phone perfect. 1. Sensitive/selective touch screen- there should be a setting to adjust the sensitivity. I find myself locking the phone or sending emails when i'm just trying to handle the phone and sometimes when I try to answer the phone, it ignores that I am pressing the answer button.. 2. Ring Tones- you have to settle for what is loaded for default ringers. In the age of every other cellphone having downloadable ringtones, this is unacceptable. 3. Not being able to close programs. This is a major flaw in my opinion. When I first got the phone, I had somehow started a song and it played through all of my music and ran my battery down. If this is a Microsoft Windows phone...where is my close windows button?
