I was really looking forward to the Windows phone and I am not disappointed. I have a few Samsung products, and I am always impressed with their commitment to quality. My new phone has worked flawlessly since I got it. I had the original iPhone, iPhone 3GS, and a Dell Streak. THis phone by far outperforms them all. I can't wait for the updates.
This is my first touch screen phone. It is extremely fast compared to my previous smartphone. The email connectivity and social networking apps are a breeze to set up and so much easier to use than my old phone. I love the big, bright screen. The Win7 apps are amazing and more are available every day. I was disappointed to learn that the OS does not yet allow full bluetooth connectivity. Hopefully that will come along soon. If you want extra memory be sure to add it up front and install it exactly as instructed in the manual.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, fast
Cons: limited bluetooth connectivity, stylus would help with typing
I would recommend this to a friend!

I decided on this over the other smartphones on the market and I am so glad I did. My friends all own the "other" smartphones and I decided to give Microsoft a try. This phone is one of the best purchases I have ever made. Thanks Microsoft and thanks Samsung!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, great os
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am very pleased with my Samsung Focus. I have loaded a number of games on it and enjoy them when I have to wait somewhere for an appointment. It is a little larger than I would really like but other than that it is great! The only real complaint I have with the Focus is that the volume is too low on the ringer, yet I have to turn it down while playing a game. It is kind of like watching television and having the volume comfortable for the show and then the commercial blows you out of the chair. Other than that, I am really enjoying my first 'smart phone' experience. Thanks Samsung!!!
I enjoy the phone. My wife and I each got one. Since this a brand new phone, there are still some kinks to get worked out. My wife used the camcorder feature, but can not do anything with it, except delete. Windows 7 will be updating that later this month. Takes great pics. Once all the updates and features get current, it will be a great phone. A mini IPhone, but way cheaper.
First off, everything good you've read about this phone is true. It is awesome. I have experienced a couple of small issues though. When you get the phone you enter your Windows Live acct and everything you have linked to that (Zune, Xbox Live) gets linked to the phone. Well, I created my Xbox Live acct 6+ years ago with a really old Windows Live acct that I no longer use. The Windows Live acct I now use didn't have an Xbox Live acct associated with it. The problem I encountered is that the phone automatically generates an Xbox Live acct if your Windows Live acct doesn't have one because, apparently, all the apps and updates go through the Xbox Live Marketplace. After talking to Xbox tech support 3 times over the course of 2 hours, I was guided to a solution which I won't get into here. However, the short ending is that I have to wait 30 days to link my real Xbox Live acct to my real Windows Live acct on my phone. Thus, I can't download any apps or games on my phone for 30 days, which is a little inconvenient. Secondly, there is no way to delete all text messages at once. I work in IT and I have 100+ computers that sometimes send me text messages when something goes wrong with them. On those occasions when something critical happens, I end up with 100 or more texts that I have to delete manually. Other than these two small issues I love this phone. On a side note, Flash would be nice and being able to use your voice to create text messages ( like on the Droid 2 ) would also rock.
This phone's most valuable features are its thickness and weight. But the outer material and overall design looks a bit cheap. It can be designed in a much more robust way. Also the screen is pretty good, you can easily see the magnificent very natural contrast of the amoled screen, and again for the screen maybe the resolution can be pumped up a little so that we can use it with more crisp images, especially it would help a lot for the texts at the web.
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, very cheap outer shell
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the windows 7.0. The home icons are very easy to use. Has alot of apps ready to download. If they could make anything better on this phone would be to extend the battery life.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, windows 7.0
Cons: battery life, screen freezes once in a while
