The OS an layout are exactly what I was hoping for. Sleek. Simplified. Large tiles and text. Intuitive design. It's perfect!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the phone, love the screen, love the setup... I would give this phone a full 5 stars if only I could set my own custom ring tones!!!! I mean really? i can stream video, surf the web, send messages to x-box live friends... but i can't use my own ring tones? that is my only complaint so far heheh. other than that this phone is awesome.
I had been waiting eqagerly for the new Windows Phone to arrive and the Samsung Focus has exceeded my expectations. Having been an iPhone user I can say that the new focus and Windows Phone 7 are an excellent alternative and with the focus's amazing screen and overall performance it is more than a match for the iPhone and in my opinion a better overall experience
You will not be able to set up wifi manually on this phone. My home wifi does not broadcast ssid and there is no way (according to tech support) to set up a wifi that does not broadcast. Unbelievably shortsighted design in this respect.
Cons: no manual set up of wifi

I love the speed, weight, SCREEN, sound, etc. The only thing that gives me the most problems is the power button location but I think that's a windows phone spec and not necessarily a Samsung phone issue. Overall I love this phone.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

I recently switched from the iPhone to the Focus. And while I am glad to be free from the iPhone, there are some features that I miss, but that is understandable given the fact I was attached to my iPhone for nearly 4 years. We can only hope that Microsoft begins to mirror what Apple and Google have done in terms of applications and other small items (such as the ability to add ringtones). Other than that I think this is one of the most user friendly phones I've ever owned. The only real issue I have with the Focus is that it's too light, i'm concerned about its durability... it just feels like you could snap it in two if you hold it too firmly.
