While I am not disappointed, I am not totally happy. The Samsung apps are useless and I expected better given what I have on my TV, for example an app that would integrate with my Samsung TV. The battery charging from the USB port is terrible and the charge indicator is poor. They also missed adding a visual LED que such that I can see what calls/emails/IM I missed versus always having to turn on the phone. Also, if I missed a call, i do not get a repeated notification liked I did on my previous Samsung Phones. The slider at the top should open more to make the port more accessible, I believe because the power plug does not fully insert, this causes problems. I am going to cut mine to make it fit better. What is also missing is the ability to block unwanted telemarketing phone numbers like I was able to do on my previous Samsung a767. That said, the speaker and voice quality is amazing! (reason why I always choose Samssung phones) The screen is gorgeous, the touchscreen is responsive and fast. Samsung botched the implementation of the microSD and I hope when fixed they do not over charge for a certified microSD which I should have been able to use from day 1.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, very fast
Cons: microsd does not work
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the Zune styled UI on the hubs and the live tiles on the main screen it is modern and unique; very different than what is currently in the marketplace which all look the same and very generic. It was very easy to setup multiple email accounts and the navigation throughout the entire OS is very smooth and fluid. I also like the integration to Windows Live and SharePoint. The Zune hub is also fantastic I enjoy being able to stream as much music as I like.
this phone exceeded my expectations. it's simple, intuitive and redefines the phone experience.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Samsung Focus Windows i917 Touchscreen cell phone is exceeding my expectations after a month of use. Everything has worked as advertised. Easy to learn. Easily customizable. The online tutorials are helpful to quickly become acquainted with the phone and how to use the extensive functionality it provides.

It's hard not to love the Samsung Focus. Pros: Sleek form factor, brilliant screen, great os (though it has its issues, we're reviewing the hardware here), excellent responsiveness. Cons: only 8gb natively, though has expansion ability, which is flawed on launch. Headphone volume is lacking, wish we could boost it somehow. Since most issues can be addressed, my review is a go for this phone, in fact, I'm writing this review from it!
