There is no Flash Player for this phone so it's useless for watching videos on the INTERNET or viewing other content. The battery life is horrible only about 2 to 3 hours tops.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no flashplayer, locks up have to reset phone
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

THIN AND HARDY, OVERALL GREAT PHONE

THIS BEING MY 6TH PHONE IN THE LAST FEW YEARS, I WOULD RATE IT THE BEST I HAVE HAD SO FAR. AS A FORKLIFT DRIVER AND TRAINER, MY PHONE TAKES QUITE A FEW BUMPS, AND MUST BE ABLE TO TAKE A BEATING. GREAT VOICE CONTROL, NOISE REDUCTION, EASE OF USE. (EXCEPT A FEW FEATURES THAT ARE HIDDEN, SUCH AS HAVING STREAMING AUDIO GO THRU BLUETOOTH DEVICES, WHICH CAN POSE A CHALLENGE FOR THOSE NOT FAMILIAR WITH BLUETOOTH) OVERALL, A GREAT PHONE.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

The 6GB it comes with will drive ex-iPhone users crazy. Anything short of 32GB makes the switch much harder. Also, now that I have realized this "issue" I have to find a solution. Why not sell it to me at purchase? Next, the battery is the worst!!!!!!!! Better always have your backup handy.
It's ok. I MIGHT recommend this phone to a friend but it didn't give me the option to say that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I Choose Windows

Gates and Jobs did a marvelous thing creating Windows into a computer's brain to get it to do our work without entering all that "code" stuff. I don't see what all the hubbub is about Android; my wife's phone uses it and it seems cluttered and clunky to use. I like the clean, straight forward look of the Samsung Focus i917 Windows 7 phone. Intermittent connection issues on the network make it less than pleasant to use at times, but on the whole, Samsung has engineered a reliable package without a lot of extra buttons to get it to do what it's supposed to do; receive/send calls, text messages, email and take the occasional photo. MS Office apps will be beneficial, but it will be a while before I'm as comfortable with that as with a 20 inch desktop monitor.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: standby battery life seems shorter than claimed, no way to resize text font!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This phone was awesome before and is even better now that I am running Windows Phone 7.5. Out of the current choices on my carrier, this phone is the best!
