Feature packed and easy to use

The Samsung Focus Windows Phone is a great smart phone. The phone has great reception and the sound is fantastic. The screen is beautiful, large and clear. The Windows operating system makes the phone a breeze to operate. All my contacts are easy to access and group. Social networking is easy to use and setting up multiple e-mails is easy. I only wish it had Flash Player and that Zune worked better with Playlist. All in all a great device.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: no flash player

First time "smart phone" buyer

Love the phone - bought two! Super screen size, brightness and resolution, even for emails, weather, web pages etc. The transition to smart phone and Windows OS takes some learning curve - still a trial working on sync between both phones and MSFT, but confident I will get it all sorted out.
Phone without a "grip-style" case is very easy to drop or slip - accessory case is a must. Clear plastic screen protector accessory is also very helpful. Otherwise a very happy customer.

Great step up

I used my daughter's hand-me-down phones after she got a new one. Last one was a flipphone and all I needed was to keep in touch w/ family and get a few texts. Now with the Focus, I realized I can do a lot more w/ wi-fi and internet. Love the size of it and great screens.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: body pretty slick need a sleeve

The Best Phone I have Ever Had

I have had this phone for over three months now and it is by far the best phone I have ever had. Software aside (Which I also love) This phone is very well made. It's light but still feels very durable. The Super-AMOLED screen is absolutely beautiful and with a huge 4 in. display It makes watching movies or playing xbox-live games great. The camera takes both great pictures and video and has a lot of in-depth options to choose from. Also very impressive to me is the battery life. I am a heavy data user and can easily go a day or more on a single charge. The only downside to this phone is the known problems with the Micro-SD card. There has been a slow flow of information pertaining to "Windows Phone certified" Cards. I do recommend waiting until a list of approved cards come out before using one. If you use one that doesn’t work than the phone will constantly reset itself back to factory settings and you have to restore it back to its previous state which is really annoying. Other than that this phone is currently the best Windows phone on the market and is one of the better phones I've seen overall. GO GET IT!

The best Windows Phone 7 phone at launch

It's not hard to find praise and professional reviews for the Focus. It's truly an excellent phone. I will point out a design flaw though: the touch-sensitive Back/Home/Search buttons are way too easily to hit by mistake. Especially during gameplay it's annoying to tap Search and end up exiting from the game. I hope future Samsung WP7 phones will make the face buttons a bit harder to press.

The deep blacks of the Super AMOLED screen really contrast the bright blues of my WP7 theme. The only thing I feel is missing is a front facing camera, but it is nice to have the best performing WP7 phone on the market (at time of release).

Cons: no front camera

The phone is awesome! The only downfall that i see at the moment would be the fact that you cannot get new ringtones for this phone at the moment. I know for a fact that techs are already working this issue so that is going to be resolved real soon.
