This product is absolutely horrible. I upgraded from my old phone to this one because I needed to synchronize my calendar and contacts from my computer. Once I got the phone, I discovered that it is capable of doing neither. Since purchasing it, I have also discovered it cannot notify you when you have new voice mail. If you want a decent web browser, it's great; if you want more than that, look elsewhere.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Had 5 days and dropped once ended up with a broken display

I had the phone for 5 days and dropped it on a wood floor from about two feet while in a protective case. The display cracked and the phone is useless. I have had 2 iPhones a 3 and 4G that I have dropped many times without damage. I was looking forward to moving to a windows phone but am going back to the iPhone because there are no quality controls on windows phones. At least with an iPhone you know you are getting quality. I am very disappointed with the Samsung Focus but did like the windows operating system for the 5 days I was able to use the phone.

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

It's lacking more than I can write. I wouldn't call it a smartphone but maybe a semi-educated phone. It's still got a few classes to go through before it fits into the real world.

The camera is terrible, most of the photos are blurred, when I make a setting change it will default to factory settings the next photo.
When tapping to select phone call out takes a few times to get it to dial.
The mobile Windows7 os has not updated to get features I was told we would get.

With NO Custom Ringtones, the Focus is a BRICK

With zero support for custom ringtones, the Focus is a BRICK. Its too bad because this is a nice piece of hardware.

The phone is good. It successfully replaced the Samsung Eternity. However, I was not prepared for a Windows phone. I am struggling to repeat specific songs on Zune, and I was surprised that a Smart Phone still could not allow you to set custom ringtones. The Microsoft Marketplace rarely works for me. I had to download YouTube three time before I could start watching videos on my phone. The Facebook app simply does not download.
Anyways, it's good, but maybe the Mango will be better.

Cons: cannot set custom ringtones, microsoft marketplace is bust
