Nice phone, but no aftermarket ringtone capability! Really???!!!

How can a great phone such as this not allow for custom ringtones??? Are you serious. Major flaw in not having this basic, high-demand capability

Very Hot Phone

I've had my Samsung Focus (3G) for just over 9 mths and can NO LONGER hold it to my ear due to the amount of HEAT it produces now. Both the Phone & Battery have been replace due to this issue 2X's each with in a two week period, with NO IMPROVEMENT!!! not to mention that the battery's only hold a charge for 3 - 4 hrs in "stand-by" mode before becoming DEAD!!!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had nothing but Samsung Cell Phones for my last 5 phones! Although I have always enjoyed my Samsung experiences, I didnt realize just how superior the Samsung was until I acquired the Focus! I love the screen size and resolution, the windows 7 apps, xbox live games, live tiles, ease of access. Too many things to list! Although there are some features that I would like to see on the Focus, they are always updating, and I am VERY pleased with this product. Thank you Samsung and keep those updates coming!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, user friendly, great camera, great video, great apps
Cons: cannot view flash sites, cannot send video
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the phone but some apps are not available with this phone. Would recommend to others but hope future updates will address the app issues.

My biggest concern for this item was the OS. I dont blame Samsung for this, but Windows 7, being quite new, has very few good apps. Most of the apps might be similar to IPhone or Android OS, but are much more basic meaning they dont have the extras that I appreciate in most apps. Display was bright, it was quite fast. I also didnt like the large icons. The only plus that makes it stand out from the other OSs isthe XBOX live feature but I dont play XBOX, so that feature is wasted on me.

Cons: few worthy apps

Big Mistake! Stay away from Windows OS!

The phone works great, the picture is great, but battery life is poor. The lack of common apps, such as Pandora, is unacceptable. My biggest issue is incompatibility with the Toyota Entune Navigtion system in my new truck. This is the last Windows Phone I will ever own. The Android phones are the best option with Samsung.
