Greatest Phone ever...and its just the beginning!

I love my Focus, by far the best phone Ive even owned and I know its only going to get better. I really feel this OS will become something special in the next year and I am glad me and my Focus are along for the ride! Ive owned all 3 of the big boys now and I wouldnt change back to either of the other two. Give this a try and stick with it and you will love it too! I recommend this to all my friends all the time and I recommend it to anyone reading this, go get one and tell me Im wrong, if you can honestly!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, great battery life!, zune zune zune!
Cons: button placement

Windows Phone 7 and Samsung are a match made in heaven! The ultra thin sleek design of the Focus compliments the super slick interface of WP7. Don't hesitate on this purchase for anyone in the family! Windows Phone 7 is so easy and simple to learn its crazy, no more having to show people how to do something a million times!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

the samsung focus is a rockin phone with alot of potential. it runs great, and seems to do well for me, with only a few minor bugs. A couple of the major things that i hope i can look forward to in future updates are, customizable ringtones for calls and for txts, the ability to customize the phone a bit more as far as tile sizes and maybe even folders or files to organize the apps that are similar on my phone. Also i would like to see some kind of ability to change power settings. the battery is great but i still seem to have to charge a little more often than i'd like, so maybe you should make it possible to change how often the phone connects to the internet for push notifications and stuff like that. I am a younger user so of course i use the game apps, but id like to see more. New ones would be great, but it would aslo be nice to see some of the classics. apps like angry birds, cartoon wars, those would be great also. i like alot of the x-box live games, but i find it hard to spend 7 bones on a single game. I'd also like to be able to send videos at some point in time. the 720p recording is awesome, but id like to share some of the memories with friends and family.
Other than that though you guys have made a pretty sick (awesome) phone. One thing that i thought was pretty crazy was the weight of the phone. I thought it was pretty cool that it was very light weight, while others might think it gives it a cheap feel, i like it. i can see the pontetial it has. i had the iphone before this and i must say this is a very strong competitor.

Cons: software could be better

For the "latest and greatest" this phone falls way short of expectations. More and more I find things it will not do rather basic things that other phones will do. You cannot have ringtones is one of the biggest aggravations. Today I learned you cannot send a video made with the phone unless you attach it to your computer which you are then limited by your or your recipient's email provider's size limits. I also have not been able to find an update to the phone since it came out in November.
Some aspects of the phone are very good but the limitations and lack of basic abilities the phone has compared to other phones is irritating.

Nice interface easy to use. No flash support, no apps. cheap feeling back but very nice screen. missing a lot of features but looks nice. A smart phone for tweens.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

I cant believe in this day and age that there are no music ringtones for this phone. And that there arent any to download.

After using this phone for one week, I ordered and received a second one for my daughter and in the process of ordering a third for my wife!
While there are still a few rough spots in the software, I am sure that the Mango upgrade will take care of that!
I would like to see a selection of backs or an option to have the back engraved to distinguish one phone from another. In a househould of three identical phones, I can see the day when someone leaves the house with the wrong phone and wonders what happened to their address book and/or apps!
These phones are walking advertisements for themselves!
Just about everyone I've shown it to either starts drooling or running for the nearest store!
I would also like to see the camera options be able to set as defaults, especially the flash and the macro function.
When trying to capture codes, every time you take a closeup, you must go into the options and turn off the flash and set the macro mode. That is inconvenient. Of course, this is a software issue and needs to be handled by Microsoft, I guess. On the hardware side, I would like to see the ability to use an external keyboard by IR, RF, or USB. Likewise for a video output so you can play your pictures and videos through your 50" plasma TV!
I can already do that with my Zune. A line of optional hardware that either plugs into the USB port, the audio jack, by Wi Fi or by Bluetooth would be appreciated, as well!
I'm sure I'll have more comments as I become more familiar with the device. For now I'll see what others have to say.
