I have had this phone for over a year and I still love it. I have passed up opportunities to upgrade because none of the newer phones seemed to match the overall package that the Focus brought to the table. The ability to expanded the memory to 32gigs was the main reason I looked at this phone, the quality of the device is what kept me from upgrading. I hope that future Samsung phones have more memory and the same quality. Great job Samsung!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, takes great pictures.
Cons: display is dim for outdoor use.

After using the Samsung Foucs for about a week, I can say that this phone is great for surfing the web, checking email, listening to media, and for calling. The phone is fast and responsive. The battery life is decent but not the best. The phone will have to be charged after a heavy day of use.
Pros: Bright display, Durable
Cons: battery

Missing the mark....again

This is in no way a reflection of the phone itself but the functionality of the user interface. There are things I like about the interface, but some glaring shortcomings make you want to ask "what were they thinking"? If it's not fixed by the time I get ready to buy my next phone I'll just get a regular 'droid and add Apps that mimic the best of this phone. Too bad, could have been great.

Phone was great, but I upgraded to the Focu Flash with 4G. For a 3G phone it was great and I loved it's ease of use.

I initially purchased the phone because I wanted a Windows 7 phone. I liked the phone right away but was disappointed because of the limitations in the OS, i.e. no custom ringtones. I upgraded the phone to 7.5 as soon as I could. The phone has been awesome since. Since then my son has purchased a Focus and my wife a Focus Flash. Can't wait for Windows Phone 8.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def
