Nice and Tidy

This phone met all of my needs. It requires very little set up for account linking (i.e. Facebook, emails) and for updates. All of the applications are very accessible. The screen is very durable, I have dropped it a few times and there is not a scratch on it, I have never used a protective case. It is extremely lightweight (especially in relation to iPhones) which makes it more valuable and less impact if you drop it. It is also very durable. Usually around this time (about a year) most of my old phones would start turning off all by themselves, that does not happen with this phone. Only downside is that it does not have a camera on the front (but the new Focus S does) and the camera activation button is on the side of the phone when I would prefer it be native on the touch screen. Also, there are not a whole lot of windows apps created yet compared to the number out there for androids and iPhones but they'll get there.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, quick application access, fast downloading
Cons: lack of apps

Great Phone

I love my phone, its never given me any problems. I would highly recommend this phone, its easy to use has a great screen, takes awesome pics.

Overall it is pretty good, just not a lot of things extras for this phone. Had a hard time finding screen protectors and a hard case.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
Cons: touchy

Very light..Perfect Design.. Love the OS.. Display and Sound rocks. Best phone in First generation WP7 mobiles.

Color Themes

Over all the last updates that Samsung released were great!! I love the new speak to text feature and the new sort feature for the menu of applications!!!
One thing that I would like to see improved is the color themes. The selection is not great. Most of the colors are "blinding" and very obtrusive. I would like to see more subdued colors or the option to add colors or change the shade or brightness.
Otherwise, I plan to keep my Samsung i917 Windows 7 phone for a long time.

I love this device. It's smart, lightweight and above all runs Windows Phone. I immediately added an SD Card as soon as the devices was shipped to me and updated it to Windows Phone 7.5, both without any hassle. I would like to recommend it to all those people who can't afford Lumia 800 or 900. This device is a real deal for them.

I love this phone, I have had it for more than a year and still would not exchange it, I have never had any problems with it, I find it easy to use, and it takes better pictures than my regular camera. That in itself is great!
