Cheap, bad sound, broke after 10 minutes

I can honestly say this was the biggest dissapointment purchase letdown of my life,
When I initially picked up the Headphones and Base I was disapointed, that was before they dstopped working.
For the 10 minutes they worked, the sound was dollar store head phones!
Sennheiser should be ashamed of themselves for this product.
It is really that bad, I have no idea how this product got such good reviews, people must have very low expectations. Sennheiser will never see another penny of my hard earned money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good sound but poor range

Been using the RS 175 for 3 months now and appreciate the sound quality but unfortunately the reception range is far less than the 100m as advertised.
I can't get away from the transmitter more than +/- 15m without losing reception (without any wall blocking the signal).
I'm really disapointed because I live in a small loft and can't use the headset walking around freely. Works fine when sitting in front of the TV +/- 10ft from the transmitter but still some sound cut off once in a while. Trust me and look for something else if you need long range wireless freedom!

Amazing sound!

These headphones were recommended to me by a sibling in the music industry. The sound is crystal clear and for someone like me who needs the volume turned up when watching TV (due to my hearing deficiency) with a partner who prefers when the volume is at its lowest setting, these headphones may have just saved my marriage! Thank you Sennheiser.

Does the job. Not David Clarke's for durability so handle accordingly, but the sound is good. I can bin the closed caption with these on. Connection is reliable.
I found them comfortable for several hours at a stretch.

Replacement for RS 170

Lovely sound. I have about an 85db loss above 1Khz and struggle with most sound systems. This one come in clear as a bell to me. The turn on from the headphone is nice compared to having to coordinate the RS170 base and headphones. And the spring on the headphones keeps them from slipping like the RS170 did (too much). Only Con is that the headphones are a bit hot to wear long term as their is no circulation under the cups.
