Workhorse printer!

We bought this printer to use for all our printing of business and personal papers, especially black & white on standard bond, and we were also looking for fax and copying capabilities. We have found all we needed and more in this great little printer/fax/copier/scanner. It is fast, efficient, very easy to use and the ink cartridge is lasting a long time - much better than the printer I use for color reproductions and photographic prints, saving us money on everyday printing. We reserve our high end printer for our high end work. The color printing on this printer is respectable also, and fast! It spits out color or B&W prints "in the blink of an eye." We really like being able to choose between color and b&w copies, and the large paper tray means not having to constantly worry about refilling the tray and running out of paper in the middle of a project. Switching between printing, faxing & copying functions is a breeze & the printer takes up very little room on the desktop. Being able to use the auto paper feed or lay the item to be copied down and scanned in on the scanner bed is a handy option when one has crinkled papers that might cause a paper jam - now a hassle easily avoided. We highly recommend this printer for one's everyday printing, faxing, & scanning/copying needs.

Good deal and low cost usage

the printer replacement cartidges are resonable and quality is good for normal printing and photos print g reat using photo paper.

Purchased this printer a couple weeks ago and it's been a huge step up from my previous inkjet. It's similar to the printer we use at work but at a fraction of the price. Excellent value for the $ and it preforms like a charm. Smoothly connected to my home network via Wi-Fi. Love the functionality of printing from my iPhone - from anywhere I have connectivity. The scan function has worked flawlessly as has the printer. I recommend this printer for home use and especially if you work from home and need an all-in-one printer.

we like our all in one

We needed to replace our all-in-one printer and sellected the workforce 545. It has a large paper tray, wireless, and all in one. Great for a household of 5 with multiple devices and printing needs. Only drawback is longer than normal delay to print and is loud when printing.

Nice looking machine, but the problem is, after setting it up and running the setup disk, it still won't print.

The workforce 545 would not feed matte photo paper even when matte photo paper was selected as paper type, nor would it allow envelopes to be fed. Big disappointment as I often use those kinds of paper.

Don't know whether it would have been good or not

I literally used this printer twice. It worked well those two times, but after that, it wouldn't turn on at all. I checked all the plugs and even tried another power cord, but nothing worked at all. Since I'm at school at the moment, and not close to the store where I bought the printer, I have to wait almost a month without a printer to go home and exchange it. I have never written a review of anything before, but I am very disappointed with this product.
