Have used this printer for 3 months ...super satisfied with easy set up..great printing..easy to change ink cartridges. Make certain to get this Epson model only..had bad experience with smaller Epson but the 545 Workforce is great.

Workforce 545

I was simply amazed at the ease of set up and use of the Workforce 545. I bought a printer from another company and it was difficult to set up, ate the paper over and over again and the picture quality was horribly lined. I took it back and purchased this Epson. I highly recommend this printer to all. Scanning was the easiest I have ever done with any printer i have ever owned.

Love it!

I have had the printer for 2 weeks - very easy to set up and install - wireless for four different computers in the house, and it all went smoothly! It lost a star because the paper tray is difficult to load - it actually rests against whatever surface the printer is on - and I found it easy to get it off its tracks. BUT a great price for a great product.

Sooooooooo... SATISFIED

I bought this printer to use at home and am so satisfied. After loading drivers onto all three Macs it prints wirelessly from the other two computers, but it seems to need to be attached to the original (desk-top) computer. Printing is so convenient, high-quality, and trouble-free from any of the three. Big jobs spew out quickly.

Thank God, an easy set up for MAC Lion

I love it when things come together. And this was a snap.
The Epson engineers have their act together.
I have three Macs, all on Lion. As soon as I opened the printer there was a sheet telling me (as a Lion user)to go to a website and download the software AND NOT USE THE INCLUDED DISK. I thought uh-oh.
So I did and it was a breeze, including the wireless setup and I have two airports in the house.
I also own one of Epson's big photographic printers and it is also a joy.
I dumped my old printer because it required constant attention regarding software and network issues. I will never buy from that company again. Brand? It would be unfair to name them but there is a Cohen BROTHERS movie starring George Clooney that has the manufacturing name in it. I have owned two and they were like having a high maintenance wife that doesn't have any redeeming features.

Epson WorkForce Printers

This is my second WorkForce. I bought a WorkForce 310 last year. When I needed a new printer for my work computer (I work from home), I knew I wanted another WorkForce. It was fairly easy to set up. It would have been easier had all the instructions been there and those that were had been clearer. The instructions stated to use the USB cable to set it up and then connect it to the internet and remove the USB cable. There are no instructions as to how to connect to internet AFTER you have connected with the cable. I finally figured it out by myself. The instructions for printing from a phone, tablet, or another printer are NOT very clear and I haven't figured them out yet. The copies are clear. I haven't faxed or scanned yet so I cannot review those tasks. The only other problem I have had is when sending certain attachments to be printed, they are in the queue for as long as 30 minutes before finally printing. I played around a little with preferences but still couldn't speed up the printing of those documents. I like the WorkForce printers and will continue to try to overcome the problems.
