This printer is fine for documents and such however not for photographs. I'm upgrading to the Epson Artisian 834.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst I ever owned

After three replacement printers, I got one that kinda works .
It will loose the WI- FI connection when I reboot I have spent so much time trying , to get it to work
I heard about it on nationwide radio ,Leo ,please try the products you advertise

Excellent printer, easy setup, love the wireless, can print from laptop and iPad without connecting to USB. I purchased 2!

I just added the workforce 545 as the default printer for my new Macbook Pro. The set up was easy and it is working very well in wireless mode. Have not used the fax yet, but everything else is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No printer can do everything

This printer is great as a printer and scanner. We love having a photocopy machine. It works well as a fax machine too (although we mainly use it to attach documents to emails, just as a scanner).
But it is not up to snuff as a photo printing machine. It leaves vague lines on photos even after doing the alignment utility and cleaning the printer heads. It also goes through ink pretty quickly when printing photos. Best to think of having a separate, dedicated photo printer - so if you are buying this because you think it will print nice glossy photos, you will be better off buying a second printer for that purpose.

I'd like to start by saying this is not the highest priced printer you can buy . This a low price range that works as good as any high priced all in one printer. The clarity is great ,the photo copy is excellent.The features on the Workforce 545 are as good as any printer I've ever owned. Can you tell I really like this printer .That's why I call it my Epsom.So if your looking for a quality printer for a reasonable price get your self an Epsom 545 all in one.
