It is absolutely an excellent printer, copier, scanner and fax all in one!! I love it and I am so happy that I purchased this product. I have lots of articles or excerpts to copy and articles to print being a faculty and a student in a Phd program. The copier is quiet and efficient. I am very satisfied with this product and it is a life saver plus time saver in getting things done efficiently. My materials print off so sharp, collated, and clear. The machine lets you know if there is a jam, needs more paper or ink what in advance. It works with my WiFi and that is marvelous, anything off the internet I can print without any interruption. It is a nice size on my desk not awkward looking and matches my desktop and monitor in color and style.
Once you get it,you will ask yourself how did you ever get things done without it. TE
Very nice printer, easy to use. Just one problem, the printer doesn't like embossed paper. I was doing wedding invitations and almost every sheet got stuck. Wasted a lot of my time. I had to try to bend the cards so that they would not get stuck. 60 cards is a lot to have to feed in more then once. The paper was embossed card stock. If I printed plain card stock the printer did a good job. I think it would help if there was some kind of an adjustment that would except embossed cards. I have used epson printers for years. This printer is my 3rd epson and really like it. I especially like the The fact that I can print wirelessly from any room in my house. I will continue to stay with epson. Good job epson, keep up the good work.
This printer does scanning and copying, as well as printing. It has a fax feature, but I did not set it up as I do not know how to do so. I like that it will work with my old IMac as well as my new one, which is something not all will do. I had to connect a WiFi. My old Epson printer allowed me to enlarge photos and documents. I have not been able to figure out how to do this on the Workforce 545. My old Epson printer had many features that I cannot find on this one, and the instructions do not mention them. Ink is still expensive and don't get that many copies to a cartridge.
Overall, the product is very good, specially for the price. A few things I need to figure out, for example, when printing envelopes it seems to get stuck. Also, when I am making copies their is a line that comes out on the copies. It may be something I need to adjust, just have not had the time to research. Again overall I recommend this all in one printer. Pleased with my buy.
I like the features of this printer very much. The only problem is I have to remove all the paper out of the paper tray to print envelopes. My old printer wasn't like that. I have also printed pictures on it and they turned out very professional. Overall it is a very good printer
I have had this printer for a couple of years with not a problem. The only thing I have experienced was on initial start up, the disc enclosed was outdated. The drivers and background set up need to be acquired through the Epson website but other than that it has run smoothly with out a single glitch.
Printer works as well as expected. Only complaint is when hooking up telephone lines for fax and telephone service, knocks phone service out. In order to fax, I must disconnect phone and put line into printer. They, (fax and phone) won't work together.
Overall, I've been happy with my Epson WorkForce 545 All-in-One Printer. The ink is affordably priced; it prints in black and white or color quickly and clearly; and with the large-capacity paper tray, I don't have to reload as often. The only drawback is the extremely slow scan feature, especially when using the top feeder for multiple pages. It takes FOREVER to scan, then save to my computer...well over a minute (or more) per page.
I would recommend this. But if the scan speed is an issue, it is definitely something to be considered.
