Epson Workforce 545 all in one Printer

I am very pleased with this printer, I have used others, but was unhappy when I updated my software for my computer, there wasn't an software update for my printer, so could not used that printer anymore. I had first started out with Epson printer before the other brand one, so I then purchased this printer, and it is wonderful, does all I need.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Super Home Printer

This printer was very easy to set up so I had it operational in no time. The print quality is excellent for both black & white and color. I enjoy having the ability for two sided printing.

Printer Not Half Bad

The Epson 545 does do what it's supposed to do and it is easy to use. But it is missing a few things that my old printer (Epson Stylus Photo R300) had. The older printer had a display showing how much toner was left. This was very convenient, because I know what toners I needed to stock up on. My newer (545) printer never displays this information until I run out ; only at that time does it show me which toner needs to be replaced. Also, while the printing qualities are comparable, two faint parallel horizontal stripes appear on the colored documents of the 545, both in printing from the computer and from making copies, and I don't know how to get rid of them. I am still learning my way around, however.

545 Eats Envelopes

The printer does a poor job printing envelopes of various sizes - I only use it to print #10s. Other sizes are chewed up, smeared, or crooked. My previous Epson printer had a STRAIGHT paper path and would print envelopes in "volume", i.e., I could load the paper tray and the envelopes would travel smoothly through the printer. It does an adequate job printing on paper and the fax machine works, though I would prefer a fax that would turn on when a message arrived rather than having to leave the 545 on all the time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

awesome printer. placing it into my network was a breeze. I was really impresses when my samsung galaxy pick it up and I printed an item from my phone to the printer.

Very good All-in-One

I have been using the Workforce 545 for almost 1 year and have been very satisfied with the performance of the unit and with the print quality. I have had no mechanical problems with the printer. I have a photo printer of another brand and I find that photos printed on the 545 are as good as and often better than those I obtain from the photo printer. I find the 545 a little noisy and of course the ink is expensive, but ink cost is a problem with any "brand name" ink.

Easy install and set up. Prints pages quickly and efficiently. I have really enjoyed this printer. Ink refills are very reasonable.
