I was lucky enough to purchase this great little machine on clearance. This little printer/ copier/ fax machine is a wonderful tool. It doesn't take up much space and the copies are clear. I'm glad I purchased it.
This printer was easy to set up for wireless. The photo print quality is excellent. Printing is fast. Scanning and copying are easy. I highly recommend this printer.
This printer does everything I need one to do. It connected to my WiFi with ease and the print quality and speed is perfect for me. I find it pretty user friendly. I have not had to refer to the online instructions yet and only had one job that took me a few minutes how to do it Whether this if your first printer or not, you will find it a good quality for the money.
If I knew how much it was going to cost to purchase replacement cartridges and how often I would have to replace them, I would have bought a more expensive laser printer model. In the long run, they are less expensive.
I appreciate the wireless features but even this does not overcome my dismay over having to constantly replace these tiny little cartridges. This applies to the higher capacity cartridges that Epson offers for my printer as well.
Overall, I am pleased with the quality of the printer. I bought it based on its reviews and price. I use it for my tax preparation business. I find it makes color copies just beautifully. Its big draw back is the cost of ink replacement. I have come to learn there is an inverse relationship between cost of printer and cost of ink replacement. The cheaper the printer, the more you will pay for new toner cartridges. As you can imagine, printing tax returns goes through ink pretty quickly. Fortunately, they are black and white. I did need to buy more of a workhorse printer for this purpose. I use the Epson for the less frequently needed color copies, and as a fax machine. So it was still worth it to me and does a good job on this. However, if you need a printer for large and frequent print jobs, you definitely want to think about ink replacement costs before you purchase.
