The Epson Workforce 545 has worked well, haven't had any complaints regarding its overall performance. What does bother us is the fact that it uses a little ink from the red, yellow and blue cartridges, even when printing in black. Why? With cartridge replacement being one more expense we can do without, I just don't see why it is using any color other than black when printing black type on white paper. I just can't help but think this is a way of selling more cartridges. When this printer wears out, I will check on this before buying another one.

Best printer I have ever owned. All in one and it works flawlessly. Other printers I have owned were always losing connectivity; then I needed to reinstall drivers all the time, etc. Not with this Epson.

This is the best printer I have ever encountered. I have had it a while, but never used the scanner. I tried to use it tonight for the first time and there was an error stating that I was not somehow connected to my printer. So with a little hunting, I tried downloading the correct drivers for it (What do I know about computers?) So I downloaded and installed the drivers and wow, it scanned my image wirelessly. I didn't think it possible, especially since I have owned the printer for at least three years and never tried it before -- I just thought I would have to go through everything via going somewhere and making a copy of the image.
Go with Epson. It is indeed, a workforce of the highest magnitude!

It's the best of best printers.I like it very much,Its software got itself downloaded on my Laptop and its Wifi got connected to my home network auto matically,Scanner is awesome and fax service is excellent and Copies exceptionally.

I see that the Epson website says this printer has been discontinued which, from my viewpoint, is a good idea. The initial setup (head alignment and cleaning) used almost half of the ink in one of the color cartridges. I am unable to print multiple page documents since the printer generates a paper jam message after printing the first page. The print quality is terrible with gaps in the letters, blotches, dark areas on the page and some pages that look like they had been printed over 2 or 3 times. As I needed a working printer immediately I purchased one from another company. If I am unable to get my money back on this one I shall throw it away and write this experience off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had my epson for a while and at first the printer worked fine, after a while I started seeing blue lines, but they went away. The blue lines came back, got worse, won't go away. Ignored them after a while. Recently, I ran out of ink, come to find if you run out of ink you can do absolutely nothing with this printer, scan, fax, nothing. What a waste of time and money. I will never buy an Epson again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am a fossil. Hence the name because when going to school we did not have the technology that is available today. Remember a Royal typewriter? I rest my case. All kidding aside, it is an excellent printer for home office use without the fancy stuff that might confuse us fossils. It is quick, easy to use, replace ink, add paper, never jams, quiet, responsive, like I was when younger. For the money, do yourself a favor, simple and inexpensive is the best. I love it. Thanks.
