I've had this about 6 months and so far it has performed very well. I've had no problems with it, though the ink is expensive. It prints well, fairly quickly. It's great for copying and scanning as well. It was easy to setup with multiple computers, shared over my home network.
Overall, very happy, and the price was good for the quality.
I purchased the Epson 545 to replace a fax/copier that I had which failed. I only use the Epson for faxes and copying. I am more than satisfied with the ease of use and the performance of the product.
This is an ok printer. On paper is prints good. On pitcures it is not that clear. But the BIGGEST problem I have is when printing more than 2 or 3 pics or more than 2 or 3 different documents the printer will freeze up or stop in the middle of printing. Then it will cancel the print on its own and will not print anything else until I clear the print que.
This printer provides quality prints and meets all of my needs. the scan feature works adaquately. The only issue is removing and replacing the paper tray. It will very easily jam under the guides. Then it is difficult to remove and put it correctly.
The All in one is a decent product, I like that it has separate ink cartridges for all colors. The only downside the fax is not as great as hp. The scanning capabilities are very limited.
Your Epson printer is by far the best printer I have ever used. I use it for personal use with my computer. Presently I have not used it for photos, but I have some plans to print some photos soon, and I am certain that it will be the best I have ever used.
I have enjoyed using the printer; although it has a fax capability I've never used it. My only complaint is the paper loading is rather cumbersome. Overall, it's great.
