As I sit here in my home, setting up my new Epson 545 WorkForce, I'm looking at my other two Epson printers it will take the place of, CX7800 my favorite printer and my NX110, a very inexpensive printer that is always dependable. These are not the frst Epson printers I have owned, this is like the 6th or 7th Epson printer in many years. I love that this printer will do everything I need, Wi-Fi, even fax up to 30 sheets, it holds 250 sheets of paper and will print legal paper.
After much research I decided to go with the Epson Workforce 545. I was looking for a wireless printer for personal and business use at home. Set up was a snap. I set up without an USB cord and it worked like a charm. Make sure you follow instructions on placement of paper, that was my only glitch and if I had followed the instructions correctly it would not have happened. So far I am very pleased with its performance. I love that it is wireless and don't have any cords to deal with. I plan to use it a lot printing pictures of my new grandbaby and will follow-up with a review on how the pictures come out. Just so far I would highly recommend.
This is my second Epson Printer. After messing with other printers, I found that I should have stayed with Epson. I didn't have any trouble with the setup at all. I scanned documents and I could see a difference in the quality of the text on the screen. I tested the fax and didn't have a problem with that. I printed in both b/w and in color and I am amazed of the quality. I even tested the SD slot on the printer with my SD card from my camera and everything works great. The printer is faster then the other printer manufacturer that I was previously using. The only thing that I am sorry that this printer doesn't do is to print double-sided. Otherwise, I am loving it so far. I only had it for two days, but I believe I gave it the best test drive I could possible give a printer.
Had printer for 1 day and printed about 20 pages wirelessly. It amazes me how quick it prints and the quality is there. Wireless software is super easy to set up as long as you follow their step by step sheet that comes in the package.
WOW! Easy as 1-2-3! In less than 30 minutes, I was printing wirelessly from my MacBook Pro, iPad and iPhone! Have test printed documents and pictures, both great quality. Glad for the paper cassette neatly tucked under the unit. Scanner is user friendly as well. Haven't had the opportunity to fax anything yet, but can only imagine it will go as well as the other features I've tried out. Lovin' it!
Love the printer/fax. Easy set up and wireless connection. Was a little disappointed because of the absence of caller ID since I use it in by home office.
