Superior value to my HP printer

I paid three times more for an HP printer with all the same features two years ago. Last week that unit went on the fritz, so rather than pay for repairs, I decided to buy a new Epson 545, and especially after reading the reviews. I too give it a five star rating. It's fast, quiet, and does everything I need in a printer.

My husband gave me the Epson WorkForce 545 all in one for Christmas. We needed a fax machine and could use a new printer, but I was dreading trying to set up a wireless when I knew nothing about them. It took me a while to figure out that I needed to install the Epson drivers to my laptop, but after doing that it was so easy to follow. I also wanted to be able to print from my IPad. There was nothing I needed to do. It worked perfectly.

I love this printer. It's quiet unlike my previous printer and it's wireless. I can print from anywhere in my home. The color is perfect as well. Love the paper tray in the front.

They don't like my IMac!

The download Disk was only for Windows. Is apple 2nd to any system? I don't think so!
Took forever before Epson would download the IMac program. Ink disks are way too small to do any real work.

Easy to set up

For a person who is not electronically gifted, this product was easy to set up and within downloading CD rom in my laptop had the printer set up and working on wireless mode in about 20-30 minutes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The 545 was extremely easy to set up. The print quality is awesome. I haven't tried photographs yet, but assume the quality to be as good as the print quality.
