not all options are wireless

I am happy with the printer but am disapointed that the ocr software that is sold as part of the printer package is not usable in a wireless format. Why sell it on a wireless printer? I also had trouble getting the scanner to set up and the information in the manual is not user friendly. They tell you to take certain steps but don't tell you how.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I recently purchased an Epson 545 Work Force printer. It is amazing! I'm still learning how to use all of its wonderful functions but so far, no complains. My daughter helped me set it up and I must say for a couple of non computer geeks, it wasn't that bad. I would definitely recommend this printer for home or office.

Just received the Work Force 545 and with ease I connected it following the simple instructions. So far it prints beautifully and faster than my other Epson. I feel this is a better thought out printer with my needs in mind. Can't wait to send a fax or print out labels for UPS. Thank you Epson!!

the set- up of the printer was a dream and the of the drivers from the Web was also easy . I wi ll do a further review after I had used the printer and scanner for sometime.

Printer works as advertised. No problem setting up the wireless connection. Somewhat noisy, but not to the point that it creates a great deal of distraction. Would recommend this printer

My wife and I are fortunate to be able to work from our home several days a week. We have been using a low-end department store "deal" printer for years. We looked at every type of printer on the market. We settled on the Epson Workforce 545. Even though it has a price like a department store "deal", it is nothing like it. All in one feature is amazing, Print quality is beyond belief, and I had no idea how much I would enjoy the wireless function.
Incredibly easy setup, had it working wirelessly for 5 laptops in seconds.

I'm a computer novice, usually dependent on people with a lot more savvy than myself to do anything like add a device, solve a problem, etc. This printer practically set itself up. All I had to do was find a place to put it! The instructions are remarkably clear and the diagrams actually make sense. The quick-guide took me step-by-step, and the software prompted me for what it needed. I felt like a techno-genius when the first page printed! I'll try not to let it go to my head. :)
