I have not used all the features of the product, but what I have used I like. I would like the instructional booklet to be more complete because I don't like having to go to the website to find out what I want to know. I really am not a knowledgable computer user and I don't spend a lot of time on it.

I bought this for printing, scanning, and wireless printing. I have found it to be an excellent printer and have had no problems with it in 6 month. Well worth the price.

This printer is great. I had to purchase it to go with my new Mac. It has been a good printer, and I would highly recommend it. Especially if you have a new Mac computer. You have to have an Epson in order to operate your new computer. I did my homework, and this particular model came highly recommended. So, I give the same recommendation. It is easy to set up, and operate. Ink lasts longer than I expected too.

Hate this printer

I cannot get this printer to print. Replaced a good printer with this one and have never gotten it to print from my computer. downloaded the software multiple times. It's ridiculous. From researching this problem on the net MANY others have this problem too; None got it to work. The printer will print from a laptop. GREAT! have to bring a laptop over to my computer to print. VERY EFFICIENT and absolutely not a hassle. HAH!!!

Epson 545

I set up the Epson 545 on my home network, it was one of the easiest setup I have ever done. I am a medical professional and use computers and printers on work networks routinely., and have bought printers from other companies , which will remain nameless., for home use, in the past. The Epson printer recognised my home WiFi network immediately, and in minutes after the machine went through its ink priming routine,(which takes sometime), I was printing effortlessly. I found the print quality to be excellent, the other functions such as faxing, and scanning are extremely simple. If you do not have a great deal of computer savvy or technical skills, this is the printer that I would recommend, save your hair (!!!!) guaranteed, you wont be pulling them out from sheer frustration, before you print your first page. I recommend it to all my friends.

Wireless good, kind of rickety

The printer works fine I guess, but I expected more. I had an old Epson but needed wireless capability which is why I upgraded to this one. This design is weird. The paper tray and feed in particular is rickety, the guides are cheap and don't easily stay in place when you reload paper. The fact that it front loads instead of top like the old one means you need more space. Also I can't for the life of me figure out how to make it work with my iPad. Having to download software on to every computer it works with is a pain and made installation more difficult than my friends reported who bought other types of printers. Print ink is more expensive than the old one. I mean it works and the print quality is fine, but I would not buy this again.
