We bought Epson WorkForce 545 All-in-One Printer 2 days ago. It was easy to set up. It is kind of too black but nice and small design. When on/off, printing, it makes big noise (compare to our old printer) but otherwise very quiet. So far we like it.
The inuctions, in clear easy to read English, made the set up snap. I made a mistake and plugged in a cable too soon, but the mistake was forgiven, and the machine functions perfectly. I am using wi-fi to print, and it set up easily, and works perfectly. It has many more features (scan to e-mail or PDF, etc) then the package listed. I spent the afternoon scanning archived paper into my laptop. I did not have a single problem. The flat bed and auto feed are easy to use, and the unit senses which is to be used. The controls are not overly complex, and simple to use. I think the capacity of the paper tray is very good. For a home printer/scanner/copier/fax with wi-fi capability, the price is VERY reasonable. I opted for the 545 (no duplexing), but if a person does a lot of copying, they may prefer the 645.
I am thrilled with the new Epson Workforce 545 that I got yesterday. I set it up this morning and the setup was the easiest and best experience with connecting and simple instructions I have ever experienced. I was replacing a 5 year old Epson Workforce 600 which had seen much use. Got the 545 because it works with my wireless network and my pc, laptop AND my wife's iPad. Not a single problem to report. 5 stars!
Having owned several printers in the last 30+ years and used many more; ppm claims and boosts about "bettter copy color", etc., has pretty much become just 'prom information' to me... 'til now. And that's all because the Epson WorkForce 545 - All-in-One printer, "does" exactly what they say it can do and so much more. Thanks... it's a great printer!
I purchased my product because my other printer was too bulky for the small desk space and it was easy to install, although it took about 20 min. I called the tech support because I was using an internet card rather than regular internet, my question wheter to use USB or internet to receive SSID code and password was answered within five minutes. I am not pro by any means and got the printer and set up all by myself!!!
