Good price. Set-up was easy. Automatically picked up my laptop, iPad and iPhone. Have not printed pics yet, but great so far

The printing itself is quiet. However, the printer getting ready to print is not. That's the disappointing part. Installation was straightforward. No trouble with printing from my Ipad. I like that the scanner is flat (makes it easier to scan oversized items).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Set-up was clear and easily performed right out of the box. The test Print was very clean and fast. Paper feeding and the ADF worked very well.

this is my first product review on a printer. but i bought a few days ago and i love it. this printer is super easy to set up. has everything i could ever want and it looks sweet doesnt look like some junk machine thats not gonna last. but thats why i went with epson because they have been around for ever and they know how to print with fantastic quality. but if you want a great printer buy this one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Setup a breeze!

I recently (1/30/12) purchased a Workforce 545. I have the Windows 7 operating system on my laptop and Vista on my desktop and encountered no problems whatsoever during setup. Printed from my iphone 4 with no issues. Have not used the fax yet but everything else works fine.

A Terrific Machine for a Home Office

This machine has all the features of the larger, more expensive printers. It copies, prints, scans, and faxes quickly; it easily installs to a home network for wireless application. Its size is perfect for a home office and is an outstanding value. I recommend it without hesitation to anyone needing a highly functional machine at a very reasonable price.

Great printer, poor software

Epson is no different to the other printer brands - they all have poor configuration software.
I have a Mac running OSX Lion, and I wanted to set it up so that I could press Scan on the printer, select my Mac, an have the scanned document saved on the Mac. The instructions on the Epson Website to set up the scanner were wrong, but when I finally found the EpsonNet software, it was very poor. It looks like something built for Windows 95 or earlier. The other config tool 'Epson Scan Settings' is just as bad.
I eventually found a note on the Epson printer support site which says I can't do what I want anyway.
Come on Epson - get someone to redevelop your configuration software for the 21st century; all your printers should be working from the same base, so it will be worth the effort!
Anyway, the printer works fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!
