I have installed this all-in-onto my office computer, and it seems like it only wants to print when it wants to. I actually have had 3 documents in the printer queue for 45 min after reinstalling. Not very happy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really Fast

I was really surprised and pleased at how fast this printer is, even when color. In fact when I compared it to other big name companies I noticed that this printer's color documents print faster than most other printer's black ink!!! Amazing!!!!

Had it for a few days but it is a good printer for the money that I have paid for. The only drawback that when is printing makes quite a bit of noise but the printouts are awesome.

Easy to set up

This was very easy to set up on my wireless network. I have an AirPort with two MacBooks using the network. I first set up the printer thru the control panel on the printer, then I installed the software on the laptops. I was done in 10 mins. and it worked the first time! So far I'm very happy with my new printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Workforce 545

Easy setup. Prints fast. Had a epson photostylus II 870 lasted for 9 years. The 545 does it all and so far has done it very well. Has a lot of features I still have to explore, but the basics are outstanding. I have my 545 set up via usb. No need for me to go wireless although I have the capability to do so. I'm sure that wireless will be a breeze to setup also. I do have several peripherals that are wireless and the 545 will do just fine.

Great All-in-One!

I did a lot of research before purchasing and I'm so happy with my WorkForce 545. Very easy set up. Works flawlessly (have been using it for a couple of months so far). Great quality print and scan. Does everything it's supposed to do. I use it with 2 MacBook Pro laptops and Wi-Fi function works great.
A couple of things to note - 1. there is no manual feed, which I wish it had as I switch paper size of my prints often and pulling out the main paper tray all the time gets annoying. 2. If you use VPN (virtual private network), you won't be able to print/scan to this printer as long as you are logged onto VPN. I use VPN on one of my laptops for work and I have to log off VPN in order to print/scan via Wi-Fi. This doesn't affect my ability to print/scan from the other laptop that has no VPN connection.
Other than these 2 points above, I LOVE the 545!

Right out of the box, the initial setup was fast and painless. I bought this printer because the reviews said I could print from my iPad wireless. I had no problems connecting to my wi-fi and was printing in a couple minutes from my iPad and the prints where great. The 250 page tray is great but I thought it was a little flimsy. The adjustable screen display is great. The price was also great for this type of printer and options that it has. Great job Epson!
