Easy to set-up and home WiFi connect to PC, laptops and my iPad. Don't need/use the fax.
Initial software loads and driver downloads etc worked fine, but a bit slow. Love the simple user interface.
Only criticism is the fragile paper feed tray. Feed guides are stiff, and it has only 2 at one end. Makes paper hard to align. Its irritating / slow when you do duplex printing.
Otherwise fast, good quaity print and nice scan options. Not sure if I have any need for the EPSON Connect feature allowing printing from any mobile, but it looks intriguing!

Fax doesn't work on same line as credit/debit

Overall the printer is great. However I had to return it. The only problem is that the fax machine cannot be used on a shared phone line with a credit/debit machine. When the fax line is plugged in you are unable to process visa/debit transactions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Absolutely beautiful photo prints, very fast document printing, and I really love the wireless feature so I can print from virtually anywhere!! This machine is a vital tool in both of my jobs and I am completely satisfied with this product!!

I just installed the 545 and so far I am very pleased. Set up was easy, although it took some time. I've tried scanning, printing from the PC and printing from Apple devices. Everything seems to be working flawlessly and the output is very sharp.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Too many malfunctions!!!! Don't buy!

This is the second Workforce 545 we got. Both printers had sensor problems; stating that there was a paper jam when no paper was in the machine. First time this happened they sent another printer. Second printer worked a week than got the same message. Piece of junk. Switching printers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good all around printer

The installation and hook up of my 545 was incredibly simple and quick. I had to buy it rather quickly since my Brother printer had developed a hardware problem that would cost more then the printer to fix. The pages print quickly and smoothly although the mechanics of the printer are louder then the brother was. Print quality was about the same as other high end printers I have used. As far as ink duration... That remains to be seen.
