This is an excellent investment. we use it everyday, top notch quality printing. The set up was a breeze, step by step walked right through it. The wi-fi is awesome, I set it up and print from our phones, I-pads, I-pods and laptops. We absolutely love it. Great printer at an affordable price.

Not perfect, but a good choice

I used the printer for a couple of months before writing a review. It replaced a CX7800. I'm pretty happy with the 545.
PROS: It's fast and pretty easy to set up as a networked printer for all the users in my house. I also like the higher capacity ink cartridges and the doc feeder for the scanner.
CONS: I wish it had a bypass tray! Printing envelopes is a pain because you have to empty the paper tray, adjust the guides, put in your envelope, print it and then put the paper back in and adjust the guides again. The paper tray seems a bit flimsey, too.

iPad woes

Connected easily to PC home network, but it's a no-go with the IPad 2. Followed install instructions which seemed to be OK as ot prints fine on Windows network. I think this is usually a firmware problem, but during wireless install on PC desktop, firmware was updated as install finalized. I just don't have more than the three hours o've worked on it to get it going. Really feel stupid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Printer

I just installed the Workforce 545 at my office. Very easy to install, just follow the instructions. Print is very crisp and clean. Prints quickly, some noise, but not loud. I wish I would have bought this one for my own personal use. I'm glad I discovered it. I'm happy with it.

I have this unit 25 minutes. They want me to write a review. What can I say?? it does seem to work. Give me a week or so and I will write my 1st review. then in 1 year I will write my real review. Only time will tell.

It is not as user friendly to set up unless you have the upc cord it says it is wireles but if you want to hook it to multiple computers it is a pain
