I could not be happier with another printer. I have had alot of failures in the past, and so far, this printer has done everything I have wanted/asked of it. This thing could definately hang with the big office printer/copiers. I would recomend this to ANYONE.
Printing is good and is not real noisy. My issue has been with the "universal" paper tray. It is cheap and junky. Works okay for strictly 8 1/2 X 11 paper but if you try to print on anything else such as #10 envelopes it doesn't work 99.9% of the time. The envelopes do not feed into the machine to be printed and the paper guides do not hold them in place. So if you are printing on anything other than standard sized paper - consider another machine for sure!
Wow, talk about your All-In-One printer, this WorkForce 545 does it all. The print is perfect, having individual color cartridges saves $ in these hard economic times. The overall price of the printer itself was very reasonable. This printer may be the last one that I have to buy. I can even print from my mobile phone and from my wife's wireless laptop. Good job Epson. No wonder you are the leader in technology.
loved my last printer but it suddenly died. brand new one now- so far so good. was easy to install for a non computer person. my big complaint is why do the ink cartridges change with each new year- just bought new ink and now can't use it. i9 thought we were supposed to be green and try tp reuse things as much as possible.
I just installed the printer a couple of days ago and while I am generally satisfied, I am disappointed with not being to automatically print 2-sided documents. I have a wi-fi connection from my PC to the all-in-1. I do not like that I have to print one side, go downstairs to the printer, and manually -- pull out/turn around/reinsert into the paper tray -- the pages that of the first side to print.
If I had known that I would not be able to automatically do two sided printing, I would not have purchased this model.
