I recently purchased the Workfoce 545 All-In-One machine and I love it. I had an Epson CX6400 prior to buying the Workforce and was pleased with it, but the Workforce has out shined my previous All-In-Ones. It is fast, easy to set up and use. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting fast, efficient printing, faxing and scanning!
We have been having problem in our office due to bad printer communication.
Also, we needed a printer that can print off the Ipad or Iphone.
And when you have laptops moving around files that needs printing on the fly, its always better to have printers on wifi so if 1 fails then you select the other and get the work done.
Epson workforce 545 i bought didnt even come iwth USB cable, but it installed quick on wifi network and i was able to print off any device on my wireless network pretty flawlessly.
I've only had my printer for one day, but it appears to be a great value for the price paid. The color printing is fast, clear, and of great quality. It also doesn't take long to boot up once you power it on. I would give it five stars, but I haven't had it long enough to determine if it would apply yet.
After having problems with several all-in-one-printers of the competition, I finally found a all-in-one printer that works like it is supposed to work, when it's supposed to work. I'm particularly fond of it being wireless, making it available for my lap-top from places in our house other than the office. It's efficient in printing, copying and faxing, and the quality of the prints take a back seat to no printer I've seen.
I'm somewhat upset at the fact that a USB cable wasn't provided on the EPSON Workforce 545 printer/fax/scanner/copier printer. However, the fact that the wireless network setup was very user friendly actually amazed me. And now I can actually utilize the printer and print documents through the WiFi network is AMAZING. I was actually impressed at how easy the setup was and am happy with the situation. I still recommend purchasing a USB cable that connects directly from the laptop to the printer because you never know when the WiFi network can fail. It's always important to have backups.
