Overall I am pleased with the printer, the OCR software is great and easy to use, however the fax from PC control panel is difficult to navigate but I would recommend this printer to anyone who is interested.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This printer is one of the best pieces of technology I have come across for my group home daycare. I am in awe for how much technology I get for the price. Not only can I print, copy, and fax materials but I can also do these things wirelessly. I would recommend this printer for any office setting, large or small.

could be better

I was a little dissapointed with the performance of this printer. If you leave the level of the print at the recomended level the print is not as sharp as my old printer. In order for it to as clear as and as sharp as my old Workforce 610 I had to put all of the print settings at their highest srttings.

It works!

Ok, so the printer works and the fax is ready to roll. The fax doesn't jump into my phone calls like my previous all in one (another brand, cheaper model). The print quality is great. It's quiet. I was really worried about noise because I hate noise. You can get black ink in a really large size, which is great. I use it only through blue tooth and it hasn't failed. Best all in one I've ever owned.

A good all-in-one

Just got my workforce 545, I was very happy with the price and the printer does work pretty quickly, as promised. For anyone who likes the idea of having a wireless printer, you need to know that you NEED the USB cable in order to scan things to your PC! The scanner works a bit slowly, but works well. The copy function works really well and at a good speed. My biggest - and really only - disappointment is that the quality of printed photos (on glossy photo paper) was not what I was expecting it to be. The photos aren't bad, but they definitely look like they were printed off a home printer. If you are looking to buy a printer or all-in-one for it's photo capabilities, I'd consider buying a different model. However, I am quite pleased with the crisp quality of document printing, the speed, the noise, etc. The only function I have not tried is the fax, but that feature is one that I may never use. The setup was quick, and I LOVE the tilting control panel! Overall, I'd recommend this unit.

I bought this Epson model on the basis of the reviews and I am very happy with the purchase.
Setup up was very fast, and instructions very clear. I set it up wireless without the USB and had no problem at all. I then went on to connect two other laptops and it was very easy. The printer is fast and the printed materials are beautiful. Fax and scan also good. For the price I would say this is a real deal.
