I am working on a large quantity or printing tonight for the first time with my Epson 545, and I am disappointed. There are poorly printed lines on all of my pages at regular intervals, as if a drum wheel is not receiving all of the printer ink. It makes my pages look cheap. And copies of printed pages print out much murkier than their originals. All in all, I miss my old printer and wish I had bought another one instead of this 545.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Something finally works GREAT

After trying printer after printer to work wirelessly through my iPhone and my iPad, I stumbled across the EPSON WorkForce 545. It worked great and I highly recomend it to anyone who wants to print remotely from their apple products

Our new EPSON WorkForce 545 printer is terrific! I love the fact that it was so simple to set up and use it wirelessly. It has made my schoolwork so much easier and everyone in the family can access it. The printouts are clear and I like that it doesn't have just one cartridge for all the colors. I only have to replace the one that it out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good and Bad

Printer works fine, copier works fine, but the scanner is not compatible with Ubuntu. I keep trying to find a driver to make the scanner work. So far I am unsuccessful. I probably will have to return if I can't get it to work.

Can't recommend at this point. Whey do you have to complicate instead of making things more simple? Just bought it today and cannot print. I had 425 and 525 printers previously but this has been impossible to get set up completely. When I try to print, am told printer not available. HELP.
Seems it still wants to recognize old 525 and not my new Workforce 545. I am not happy as I have spend hours trying to get it to work!

Just got my Epson 545 today. Easy to set up and use. Easily used scan function successfully. Looking forward to saving on ink replacement costs. I like its many features such as top loading copier , two sided printing, and fax. I look forward to many years of use.
