Easy setup can be done without hooking up usb cord. Wireless connected without trouble. Prints fast with a sharp clean look. Images print clearly with good color balance. Ink is not too expensive and the levels in the cartridges are not dropping too quickly.
This is for home use with 3 users. Have had the printer 2 weeks.
I am sure this is a glitch in something because Epson is a well respected company. Having said that if all their printers worked like this one they would not be in business. Not sure what the problem is, I have only had it for 3 days but I am taking it back today. It spits out a bunch of paper when I am only printing one thing. The pictures on the printing have lines and discoloration on them. There are so many buttons on the face of the printer that I get confused easily. It was inexpensive but I will pay more next time and get a printer that is not so problematic.
Using for home use with Windows XP SP3 with a USB connection. Installation was easy. Loaded software and it too was easy. Noticed only two things to watch out for; follow steps and do one at a time and also the instructions never say to connect the printer to the computer. Just do it after all the steps are completed. Take a minute and read ALL the steps, then just do them one at a time.
I bought the Epson Workforce 545 because it had all the features that I was looking for: flatbed scanner, paper tray, separate color ink cartridges, and cloud and remote printing. (The first one I purchased had to be returned because one printhead was messing up, but after looking at all the other printers available, I ended up buying this one a second time.)
Quality of copies is great. The only thing I've found disappointing is that the menus aren't very user friendly. Several things I was looking for seemed hidden or awkwardly worded so I didn't know if that's what I was looking for or not.
