Good product for the price. Does have a few short comings like can't print on a 6 3/4 envelope without a few hassles and no manual feed slot but overall a good product. The Ethernet connection makes it print fast and was the easiest printer to setup that I have owned to date.
Excellent printing results with text and photos. Ink use about average, though ink is relatively expensive. My gripe is extended time from hitting print until printer actually prints. Other brands are much faster in this regard.
After struggling to load software and drivers I contacted support. I received a quick response from Jacob. By then I realized that I had to shut off virus protection. I downloaded the drivers from Epson.com and was able to get the printer working. So far everything is working fine. Quality of printing is very good. Will be trying other features and will keep you informed.Thank you
Excellent machine. Complete setup somewhat lengthy, but machine has quality printing. Not noisy like some printers tend to be. Great deal for the features it provides. Epson is known for it's quality. I haven't had a chance to try out all of the features yet, but I have faith that I won't encounter any problems. I had an Epson printer several years ago and it was an excellent machine.
After reading several mixed reviews on the Workforce 545 there were sufficient pluses to convince me to move forward with the purchase. Even though there were some negative reviews on the installation process; I proceeded very carefully and made sure I understood the instructions before taking the next step. The process took about 20 minutes and went without a hitch. Bravo Epson, and cudos to the designers of the installation process.
I can't believe how easily the install went. The software knew just about everything on my system and zipped through it. Even better in 10 minutes I had my wife's Thrive tablet printing and my iPhone. Now the only question is where to put it. I'll leave that up to my interior decorator.
