I recieved it quickly, setup was fast and easy, and the printing is excellent!! I LOVE THIS PRINTER!!

If you follow the instructions, set-up is a breeze. I would say that it would be best to read and re-read installation, obtain info required for input, ie: SSID, password, etc. The printer acquired most info on its own, but be prepared. Only recoomendations I would have is to include section in manual on sizes printer would default print, found answer to printing from iphone in the FAQ's. Mail and Safari is letter size, and photo's and camera is 4x6. Why doesn't the installation disc give you the option to install, or not install the outdated/seldom used FAX?? Had quite a few items to print after set-up, pictures, letters, etc and all went great. The paper tray is a great feature.

This printer is excellent. Easy set up to my network and works well with my 2 desk tops, 2 laptop, and my acer A500 tablet. Fax, scan, copy and print are great. Best buy for my dollar. I have 4 Epson printers. WorkForce 30, workForce 1100, NX 200 and WorkForce 545. They are great for work and leisure. Thank Epson.

Great printer

I've had this printer less than 48 hours, but have been asked three times already for a review, so here it is.
The unit has a smaller footprint than the one it replaced. The quick start instructions were perfect, and finding a (temporary, removed immediately after installation) USB connector in my pile of spaghetti took longer than anything else in the installation. It's set up on wireless, works beautifully, and was a snap.
The scans are of excellent quality. Prints are faster and also of excellent quality. Add the sale price I paid, and this is, at least so far, one of the best purchases I've ever made.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not so pleased.

Purchased the 545 yesterday. My wife makes a lot of her own greeting cards and I have not been able to get it to print the envelope. I have tried resetting the card program and every location in the tray for the envelop. It also makes black ink marks on the face of the envelop. I worked with it 2 or 3 hours and finally gave up. I will call customer service 1st chance I get.
The printer makes a lot of noise every time it starts to feed a sheet of paper into the printer. The previous Epson we had work for several years with no problem and was much quiter.

Fast Epson

I am pleased with the speed and reliability of my Epson workforce 545. It prints faster at a higher quality than my previous machine. I haven't had a single paper jam in over 200 pages, and the ink seems to be lasting quite a long time. Overall I am quite pleased with my Epson machine.

Great device. No problems in 6 mo of operation, have used all the features but faxing.
Printing is very quick and good looking. One ink clog, printer app took care of that, scanning is the best I have seen, fast, accurate and converting to pdf is great. Have never had a misfeed with the sheet feeder. Guess I will know by this time next year if it was a good buy.
