The unit prints and copies fine but I cant scan to my PC. I get a "communication error". The cable is good. I have reinstalled the software and am still unable to scan to my PC. It will scan to SD card. The print and copy is great! I will have to call tech support about the scan problem though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Printer

Easy to set up and worked right away except my wife has a Mac and had trouble getting it to work but with my PC it prints very quickly and is the best printer I've had. The scanning worked without trouble also.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have only had this machine 2 days so can't give a full review. Set up was not difficult but was lengthy. Printing was easy and great quality.
I expect to continue to be pleased with this purchase. My previous printer (NOT an Epson) has been making me curse for far too long.

set up workforce 545

I setup workforce 545. Roughly this product is good. I follow your setup guide. A little comfortable things are that usb cable not included, and that cartridge inserting method is not well and completely explained. So my suggestion is that you should include that cable if possible, and that cartridge insertion should be explained in details even if installers are strange to computers. Other things are good. Thanks for your product.

Very easy setup and printing

This has got to be the easiest printer i have ever setup! The networking was great all my PC's and even my IPAD totally wirerless!! Thanks for makin such an easy to setup product! As for the printing it was fast and came out flawless (photos and white paper) Thanks Epson for makin a great product!

For my first printer ever, it is very useful. Does a nice job fulfilling my needs. Although I had a slight problem with it turning off, I contacted Epson, and they replaced it in ONE day! Great service!
