Problem for Mac Lion

Really like the 545.. It is fast, easy to use and works wonderful with my IPhone and IPad. However, I am having a real problem getting my Mac to accept it. I have gone thru the directions several times, I have downloaded the special software and drivers, and still do not have installed on my Mac. This is a real problem to me!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Happy So Far

Only had this printer for two weeks or so, and after downloading some apps, it now does what I want it to do. My first printing job was a PDF document and the quality was not very good. One of the apps I downloaded (don't ask me which one) corrected the problem. Although I found it easy to connect to my router for wireless printing, I was unable to print.
A young lady in the Philippines solved the problem with another app download. Just wish the printer would turn on when I send it a print job, instead of having to turn it on manually. Heck, maybe there is another app for that.

I am pleased with the speed of printing and the display. I am disappointed that it is necessary to remove the paper from the paper tray in order to print an envelope--I wouldn't have bought the printer if I had known that. Draft mode is pretty much useless--far too light.

the printer works great for almost everything i need, but didnt come with any print program to use with pictures.

Good printer, but paper tray will not allow you to keep smaller photo paper and letter paper in at the same time like my older Epson printer does.

Complicated as far as ease of use. Prints regular black & white pages too slow. Does not meet expectations for speed at all. I have not tried photos or other functionalities at this point. Just received photo paper so will try this out and

Love my WorkForce - BUT

I love my WorkForce 545 - have used it and USED it! BUT THEN - Apple upgraded my MacBook to Mountain Lion (THAT took days) and I couldn't use my printer any more. I've tried downloading drivers - but that locked up my computer for 2 days. HELP
