Great Printer, slow scanner

This is a great printer. Good, clean, fast copies; wireless set up was fairly easy; and cloud printing is very convenient. The price was very affordable. However, scanning is extremely slow and the settings seem a bit hard to figure out. I would recommend the Epson 545 All-in-One, but the slow scanning is something to consider if speed is necessary.

I have gone through about 20 plus printers plus scanners. The Epson 545 has been one of the very best I have ever owned. I hope to get many more years of use from it. The quality of this all in one is 10 times better than any I have used or owned. Grab one before they are gone!!!!! I have even had very high end photo printers that did not do as good of job of printing photos as this unit!!!

This is the worst All in one Printer I have ever seen or used in my life. It goes through ink like crazy, so it cost the business a fortune in ink. Also, I have already had one major issue with the machine that was only a couple months old and had to have it replaced by a new one. It is very slow and very poor quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Epson Workforce 545 has worked well, haven't had any complaints regarding its overall performance. What does bother us is the fact that it uses a little ink from the red, yellow and blue cartridges, even when printing in black. Why? With cartridge replacement being one more expense we can do without, I just don't see why it is using any color other than black when printing black type on white paper. I just can't help but think this is a way of selling more cartridges. When this printer wears out, I will check on this before buying another one.
