Great printer

I brought 2 WP 845 Printers and 1 WP 840 printer. All works great. The only problem I have is with the printer email address. When I first set it up I could print from any computer from anywhere, but I no longer can do that and I cannot fix it. That's why I only gave it a 4 star.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have purchased 2 printers The Epson Work Force 845 and a HP 8600 they are comparable in price with a lot of things in common I use the Epson however more due the extra tray and legal paper option.Epson customer service has been great and I do recomend this machine however I would advise not to try any other generic or refilled cartrages. Doing this with both machines has saved considerable money in comparison to a monthly lease / service contract.

However, in a recent update I have lost the ability to print on both sides of paper. What can I do to correct this problem???

Epson Workforce 845 All-in-One Pri

The Workforce 845 is a nice printer for a small office. In the years I have been using mine it had only 1 paper jam. It has auto duplex feature but requires checking settings prior to clicking print as the settings tend to default back to standard, printing separate 2 sheets as opposed to 1. The out paper tray is flimsy and easy to break. The paper trays hold a generous supply of paper and is great if volume printing. Printing graphics is very good, but I don’t recommend photographs as the quality is only fair. I have found that the printer drivers need to be kept up to date, or are easily corrupted requiring reinstalling. It has a print ink reminder that can become annoying when using printer. The print head, nozzle and alignment can take longer than usual compared to other models. The alignment print marks are very light in color and hard to read. I am currently having problems when printing receipts as I no longer have print options to print my selection, page 1 or other choices, only option is all or nothing.

A great little All in One

I have had 3 years of great service so far. The 845 has been ink efficient, trouble free and very reliable. I would recommend to one and all. I run my own real estate business and I need and have a competent mechanical partner.

Works great with Mac And PC. Scanner is very good. Good software. Starts print jobs quickly.
Although I have five stars, I'm not so crazy about the paper handling. Not horrible, but if there is ever a glitch in a print job it is with the paper handling(envelopes). I would give 4 3/4 stars if there was that choice. There were lots of options in this price range, I'm still happy I chose this Epson and would recommend it to others without hesitation.

Windows 8.1 ??

I really like this all in one printer with one exception it doesn't seem to like Windows 8.1 I have downloaded the updated drivers numerous times but I constantly get the message that it isn't compatible with my OS . . . If you don't have Windows 8.1 I am sure it will be fine. It works fine on my husband's Windows 7
