Falls short

OK - I'm an amateur photographer. I like to print my pictures at home. Ink was becoming scarce for my old printer so I went with this Epson. It prints reasonably well on SOME pictures; however, it does not print the same picture I see on my computer. If there are dark areas in the original photo on my computer, the whole picture will be dark - too dark. It does not do a good job of differentiating darker shades, shadows, etc. For any other type of printing, it's fine but it falls short of what I want in printing photos. I want to print what I see on my computer, or the original digital picture. This printer does not do that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great unit

I've owned ~10-14 all in one printers-fax & so on units in about every major brand. Without a doubt, this is the best all around unit. I've had it for 2-3yrs now & no problems at all.
It is so easy to setup & if something goes wrong & you have to re-setup the wireless connection or change settings for different jobs...it's a snap....a 30sec job!
If it ever goes bad, I'll buy the same updated model again.

I love my Epson 845 printer. It does everything I need and I learn more when I try to do more with it. Great product. My biggest complaint is a complaint of many people and printers, why is the ink so expensive? What is in that stuff gold?

The printer has many functions that all work very well. It is easy to maintain. The only negative I have experienced is the lack of sensitivity of the touch screen. It frequently takes multiple touches to get the screen to respond. Overall, a very good printer.

I purchased a refurbished Workforce 845 in April 2013, and have not had any problems at all. It's works great and I'm very happy. I've been using Epson all-in-1 printers for over 7 years and I keep on coming back. My wife also has a Workforce printer.

THE EPSON 845 IS AN EXCELLENT BUY ESPECIALLY FOR A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER LIKE ME. THE ALL-IN- ONE MAKES THINGS SO EASY FOR ME AND MY STAFF.
