I bought this printer two days ago. Everything was working well except scan from printer. I called to customer service center and she guided me through step by step for setup in Mac. Now working well. Customer service is good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Still too new to review

I purchased this particular printer because it was written up in my local newspaper by the technical guru.
I am first disappointed because the User Manual can only be accessed online. There is no way to download a PDF.
Otherwise, I have tried using the scanning feature, but haven't been able to figure it out. What I have read in the manual is not easy to understand (for me). Just haven't had enough time to READ through the manual to learn.
It does print very nice, and using the "fast print" feature to save on ink works well.

I tried using the auto printing on both sides, but couldn't get it to work and don't understand the manual.
Once I learn more about it, I'll try to give more information.

great printer, great printing quality, dont get me wrong, but the inability to permanently change the cassette source makes for a messy and sometimes unwanted problem.

Excellent all in one but for one software problem.

This printer does everything that is supposed to do and it does it well. One of the biggest reasons for me deciding on this all in one is that it has two paper trays so that I wouldn't need to change from 4x6 photo paper to letter size and visa versa for different printing tasks. The only problem is that you cannot change the default tray for the paper tray to be used from one to two. Tray one is the only tray that you can load 4x6 photo paper which I have done and I have letter size paper in tray two. I wanted to change the default to tray two since the vast majority of my print tasks require letter size paper but there is no provision in the software to do this meaning you've got to remember to change it manually each and every time you want to print from tray two. I also tried to switch the trays but they are different and won't fit into the other trays slot.

Epson WorkForce 845 All-in-One Printer

I was sceptical on the purchase of this all in one printer at first but opted to purchase it versus many other all in ones on the market currently. My primary reason for purchasing this product versus others was the attractive price and features included for the price. It was nice that the unit came with full cartridges and also the replacement cost of these cartidges were significantly less then the competitors. Setup was very user friendly,use of the machine was very very easy, overall quality can't be beat in the price range. All in all I am very impressed with the unit as a whole.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Got a great deal on this printer and so far it's so much better than my other / old printer which has been good and lasted for 4 yrs. Anyway, I think this is a big step up.

We have really enjoyed all this printer can do. Especially the two trays legal and letter. It is so nice not to be changing paper all the time. I hightly recommend this WorkForce 845 to everyone.

Photo quality

My black and white photos that I print from my computer have a bluish tint . The color photos printed from the computer have a "washed out" look wspecially in acial features.
