Another Excellent Epson

My last 3 printers have all been Epson. Due to hefty ink cartridge replacement costs, I was planning on getting a laser printer this time around but due to the lack of company reimbursements I had to go with another inkjet. After reading many reviews I decided to go with the 845 Workforce and in a way I am glad my company denied my laser replacement. It's an Epson with great build quality and FAST!! This puppy can split out print jobs super quick. It takes longer than normal to get it to respond wirelessly but that is typical of wireless printing. Setup was easy, even though I needed the software to search twice to finally see the printer..not a big deal. Epson claims to be more efficient with ink...we will see. It's an all in one, at a great price. It's fast and it's an Epson. If your an Epson fan, like me, you'll continue to be satisfied with this one.

845 All In One

This the first Epson printer I've purchased. I've always had HP printers. I like the ease of set up for WiFi. Have 3 computers printing which is very convenient.
Have had very few problems with it. Only had a few weeks. Can't get envelopes to print ...they jam possibly due to the strip on them for sealing.

Excellent printer

I have owned this printer for about 3 months and would like to update my review. For the most part, this printer is awesome. there are however, a couple of irritating quirks:
1. One of the reasons I bought this printer is because it has two paper trays and I can use one for regular printing and one for photo printing. Before you have to print anything, you have to check the preferences to make sure the right cassette is being used. Apparently, there is no default and you can end up printing documents on photo paper.
2. Doesnt format correctly with most of my photo print software. There is only one of my software that I can use that will print the entire picture. the rest of them end up with 1 - 2 inch white border around the print.
3. Extremely flimsy paper trays.
4. I can't scan from the printer. It's asks me to select the connection type and the only one available is USB and I have a networked wireless connection. Can however scan from the computer.
I've not gotten any paper jams or errors while trying to print. My previous printer frequently gave me a printer error and I had no idea what is was. It also wouldn't delete documents in the cue a lot of the time, and most times I couldn't even turn the printer off. This Epson has had none of those problems.

Amazingly Simple

I'm a fairly adept computer user, but printer setups are always a headache. Updating firmware, connecting directly to routers, disabling port routes, etc. etc. However, this epson COULD NOT have been simpler to set up. Anyone at any skill level can operate this printer. Not to mention, the machine prints at a blistering speed. Amazing product here.

I was forced to retire a large, heavy, expensive solid ink multifunction when the print heads failed. After shopping my options, I picked the 845 because it seemed to have everything I wanted in a small, light, inexpensive package. The question was, would it work well enough to make me forget my previous multifunction.
The answer is yes. The 845 is easy to set up. It works beautifully with my Macs over a LAN. Everything Epson promises in the 845 it delivers.

Great Printer

I really like this printer over the 610 Workforce I use to use. Easy business card printing from tray 1. Just place the card stock on the 1/2 or less filled tray of regular paper and print. Which means place 10-20 card stock pages on top of the 100 or less pages of regular paper, close the tray one (1) and print the 10-20 card stock pages. In the same way pictures print easy too...Just place the picture paper face down (but you must place 2 or more sheets) and print. Simple.

First word when I printed a document in fast economy mode. WOW, this printer not only prints in great quality, its fast too. Its rigid and sleek design make it a great product for your office, ready to perform at its best in a second. This product is reliable and built to perform. Sturdy construction and nice touchscreen feedback.
Pros:
Easy Set-up
Nice Touch Screen
Fast Printing
Good Quality Printing
Save 40% on ink I've had it for 6 months and I already saved. Have yet to replace the inks.
Cons:
Paper tray system hasn't evolved over the years, Epson you can do better just put your team to work.
That's the only con I found, nothings wrong with the tray system but it could be better.
