I cannot praise this thing enough. Quiet, fast, efficient, capable, two sided auto scan and print, great prints in every format.... just awesome!

Great features at a low price

I have just been using my new Epson 845 for about a week now, having purchased this to replace my old workhorse laser printer. I am a graphic designer and this is for my office, so I was looking for print quality as well as the bonus features of having a scanner and fax all rolled into one. I have used or tested each feature and so far I have been pleased with most everything. My only disappointment is that there is not a more sophisticated photo printing interface that would work with PhotoShop. I printed a test photo from PhotoShop and then from the Epson "Easy Photo Print" and the color from PhotoShop is far better. I need to play around with printing photos on this a bit more, however. I would definitely recommend this to a friend or colleague!

I've had my printer for a few months now luv it luv it. My only complaint is the user manual. ><For instance it tells how to load an envelope but I find nothing on how to print it. It does print the greatest pictures ever.

840/845 All In One

I have the 840, which is identical to the 845. The movable touch-screen is buggy. My printer is only 1.5 years old and because of the moving screen, it now has a loose connection and I sometimes cannot access my screen, making it impossible to scan, copy, fax, or anything! I had to use the Epson Scanner on my desktop, scan my doc in and then print it from screen.
Otherwise this is a great machine, speed is good, print quality great, fast. 2 papers drawers a time saver too.
