An Excellent Printer

This printer does everything the advertising claims it will do; well, almost.
I could not give it five stars because the quality of photo printing was below par. It was acceptable enough to show clients (IF the showing was billed as an unedited sneak peak). I expected better quality and was taken back when I stated see photos coming out of the printer.
Wifi was also a little disappointing. It works like a fantastic piece of machinery when you first set it up. However, after a couple of weeks it just shuts itself off. THEN it i quite difficult to reset it for wifi before you cab get it up and running for another month or two, Quite annoying.

Based on great reviews and the promise that it would work with my ipads, I purchased the workforce 845. Well, in minutes (and I'm no tech-geek)I was printing from an ipad, ipad2, mac-book and a PC I use for business. Its fast too! This printer deserves all the great reviews.

My printer is on a wireless/wired network and the setup was quick, easy and flawless! (Setting up my old printer-another major brand-was a nightmare and it would frequently drop off and error out) So far I'm impressed with it's ease of use and high quality printing! It's also nice that it came with the extra-high capacity ink cartridges, not just starters. Great product and value for the money!

We began using the printer yesterday and so far, it is the BEST all-in-one we've ever used!! We have an at-home business and fully utilize all of the features.
SETUP: An absolute BREEZE!! We have both Mac and Windows computers and they found the 845 with no problem whatsoever. The wireless setup was flawless.
PRINTING: The fastest we've seen, and the quality is awesome!
SCANNING: Excellent!! No problems whatsoever!
FAXING: Haven't used this feature yet.
REMOTE PRINTING: Superb! I'm using the iEpson app from my iPhone and it works great! Also, the epsonconnect feature is excellent as well!

My other printer gave me problems from the day I bought it. My Epson WorkForce 845 is super. It prints photos extremly well, my 845 sends and receives fax fast. I also can scan photos and put them in my Microsoft programs or my web page. A real nice feature is to enlarge or reduce the size of a document or photo that I copied. The color printing of my 845 is very actuate. I'm very happy with it and would recommend it.

I set up last night and tried to print 2 sides. No Luck. I have been up since 5:30 and for the last 6 hrs am still only able to print one side. Either I am dumb or this product is the first Lemon that I've gotten from Epson in over 20 years.

Back To Epson - Workforce 845

Some time ago I went away from Epson for an "upscale" brand, to take things up a notch. Well, that seemed to work for a little while. I have always been impressed with the quality and the "little something extra" the Epson line has always had over other printer brands. Now I am back! I must say I am VERY impressed with this printer thus far.
Quality components, real fax machine, mobile device instant print, wired/wireless networking, 500-sheet dual trays, duplex print, auto doc feeder for fax/scan, fast scanner, fast printer.
It is also elegant in appearance with a pleasing yet subtle texture on its upper lid. It is graceful in presentation and function of its features (touch screen flip-up, doc feeder flip-up). What an attractive package. To top it off, it has a removable panel in the back to clear jams. (That's big-boy stuff!). Instant dry ink process is a nice bonus.
Software installation was nearly a no-hands affair, worked first time, found the printer on the network, picked up serial number automtically for the optional registration bit. (Like butta, baby.)
Scanner with default OCR software was accurate and very easy to use. I (read "the printer") converts my multi-page scan to a text searcheable PDF in no time flat. Scan as well as resolutions are well-suited to my needs and tastes.
I am quite satisfied with my purchase thus far. Bravo, Epson!!

So Far Great

I’m a first time owner of an Epson printer product. I read several reviews and thought it was a good product. I took printer out of the box, checked to see if I had everything I needed. (I did). I used the quick set-up sheet, and followed the instructions. About an hour later I had my desktop and laptop printing wirelessly. I’ve only had the printer for about four days, but so far so good.
