Great printer especially wireless- some fax issues

I would have given the printer 5 stars, becasue the set up was a breeze especially the wireless part. Print and scanning are fast and the XL cartridges that come with it is a bonus you don't normally get with other printers. My only issue is with recieving faxes. It shares a phone line and when I either receive a call or make one the screen says the receiver is off the hook after the call is completed. And when a fax comes in it won't accept the call. I have to click on the receive fax button, then cancel the fax then click yes to cancel instead of just going back to the home screen. I deal with it but it can be a pain having the sender resend a fax if I don't reset it. But other than that it works great, it's quiet and when scanning it's really fast. I love being able to feed several documents at a time versus doing it individual like I used to.

Great Printer

I love this printer. It was the easiest ever to install. I own two Workforce 610 printers and bought this one to replace an Epson Workforce 630 that had been struck by lightening. I wanted to use the same ink(127) so I compared all Workforce printers that used the 127 ink. I definately made the right decision chosing the 845 over the others. I love having 2 paper trays because it keeps me from manually changing back and forth from letter to legal size paper. The cost was a little more than other Workforce models but it came with the larger inks which offsets the higher cost. The touch screen is also great to work with. The ease of operation is worth the extra few dollars.

This is my second attempt at a wireless all in one printer...the last was from a competitor and I was NOT happy. so far my Epson is doing a fabulous job. Setup was not difficult, although I messed it up the first time, I just uninstalled everything and tried again and it is working fine. I am now connected with the computer, laptop, iPhone and iPad with Epson iPrint! Thanks Epson for creating great products!

I hope this one lasts longer then my other Epson, it lasted less then a year. Like the Apple air print feature, main reason for purchase. Setup was easy with USB cord. Ipad2 and iPhone connected on first try

First time it worked perfect! There was no problem with software installation accept it said 'MAC address...', while I have PC, not MAC. And it worked! Next day I tried to print some stuff for my school and was not able to do so because '...the printer could not be found...' from two of my computers. Of cause, I tried time and time again... Nine hours later, while watching TV, I heard my printer suddenly started working hard. It printed me so many pages of the document I did not need anymore and would print even more if I did not cancel printing... Maybe when I re install my software, it will help me somehow? I don't think it is a big problem... Otherwise, it is not bad, but it might take some time to figure out all the flaws it has (I have it just for couple of days).
