WorkForce 845 Set-up and Install

Just unpacked and installed the Epson WorkForce 845. Well packed, clear concise and simple instructions provided a hassle-free set-up. Firmware and drivers updates automatically sought on the Interwebs. Fast, crisp printing. Satisfied customer.

Why did I wait so long to switch ...

I just bought the Epson WF850, what a breath of fresh air compared to my last "leading brand" printer. Stated simply.. the WF850works! The setup on the network was easy, I didn't even need a USB cable. The the drivers work perfectly with no hidden gotchas or disclaimers. No jams yet after a week of use (my last 2 HPs jammed several times in the first week).
And I can't say enough about the inclusion of real full-sized ink cartridges, not the starter versions that the other manufacturer give you that only produce a few pages. I haven't tried printing photos yet as that is not of prime importance to me as a home-office user but I am very pleased with the fast, crisp, non-smudge, water-proof results. This printer's features are perfect for me, I wish I had bought it long ago and not wasted my money on the others.

I love my new Epson Workforce 845 Printer!!!!
Easy set up and a full all in one! I can print, fax, copy and scan at the touch of a screen. Great product. I love it!!

Great piece of equipment

I am not as technologically savy as I would like, and at 50 I do not see that changing a great deal. As the installation process progressed I found the Epson WorkForce 845 to be extremely easy to set up and so far it has met and exceeded my expecataions. I honestly thought with all the features it has, that I would have to be on the phone with Customer Support to get the unit up and running. I did it all myself in about 30 minutes from beginning to end and that includes loading the program onto my laptop for remote printing. The only thing I have found that I would recomend an improvement on the the sensetivity of the touch screen. It is not as sensetive as I would like it to be. I did find however, the eraser end of a pencil did improve the ease of using the touch screen. I will still recomend this unit to anyone.

GREAT PRINTER

Was looking for an all-in-one printer, and after checking several, decided on the WF-845. Two drawer paper supply was a big decision maker. So far I have tried all features except FAX, and am very pleased. Two sided printing is great. Photos have had great results, and the ADF works very well. I am happy with the results so far and look forward to a great relationship with this machine.
